Wanted to get back into sod as its been roughly 8-9 months, been playing anniversary and retail mostly between then and now. But it seems theres so much to do and a lot of gear that idk if its worth grinding to get to late game. Is it still worth starting up again?
I say yes it’s been a lot of fun from someone who started a month ago
I don’t know about you gear, but it’s too late for new players. There is no catch up mechanics except a few T2 items, but after that you will lack a lot of gear for any other activity.

I started from level 1 couple months ago and I don’t think it’s to late to start
She’s pretty late mate for new players. Alot of gate keeping going on. GS/Strath runs - Geared/GS Fast and EZ AQ20’s. Even MC and BWL has become a lockdown to some. Its hardcase really
As someone who took a break, and came back but was about to stop playing…. I’ve changed my mind.
This(SOD) is probably the best version to be playing, even if at a casual place. One reason I like is crafting actually has a place at end-game as you can actually craft catch-up gear upon getting some recipe drops. New areas to play through with new stories no other version of the game has.
I also see plenty of lower level players running around, even after Phase 8 opening up so you won’t be alone in the leveling process.
Nah, join a guild and do one naxx as a carry and you can get back in easy. I bring “trash cans” to hm4 naxx and feed them loot all the time. Brought 1 guy with zero sanc and he had 6 green items and nothing else. Ended with 6/8 T3 and 3 more sanc items.
