Too hard to kill people in BfA

TTK is definitely higher than it was in Legion. I like it tbh, makes combat feel more methodical and strategic.

I do agree some specs could use a boost to either healing or survivability though. Arms Warrior, Enhancement Shaman, and Mages come to mind.

i agree completely. I think arms warrior should be somewhat of a glasscannon, but with high mobility. fury as self healing but good damage. diversify it.

i think evocation should be baseline for mage

Is this a serious post?

Convo 180.
Personally feel like this addon should be broken/banned.
People should be able to find the healer on their own without having an addon babysit them in the BG.

That being said I know blizz stopped caring about addons ages ago.

By your logic deadly boss mods or bigwigs should be banned for pve then.

Or no addons in game period lol you can’t pick and choose what you think is “fair”

I’m not a hypocrite.
I raid without DBM also. You don’t need it. The game even does it for you. The amount of yelling the game itself does is hilarious.
If you need a foghorn to know how to play your toon I think there be problems.

Plenty addons are helpful. Reflex, damage trackers, music changers.
Playing peggle on flightpaths.

I did not say a word about ‘fair’ nice assumption. It’s not about fair. It’s about people learning to play the game properly.

is that still a thing? i remember getting yelled at in ulduar for peggle when it posted a high score in guild chat when our raid lead was explaining a fight.

Well blizz makes the game so easy now there’s really no point to learn anything, I mean go back to the days in bc playing with out addons, was the time where you actually had to learn fights and how to play.

Now every class has 4-5 buttons and fights are so dumbed down it’s not funny. Addons are redundant at this point regardless

Ha that is great. Had to do something during the long raid explanation right? Especially those long winded leaders.
Might be? I have not seen it in a while but expect it to be back with a vengeance during classic.
I always preferred bejeweled.

So the game is already so simple people need addons to make it simpler and easier?
Target the healer for me looking up from my 5 buttons is hard.

I never said I disagreed with you, I was just saying if one goes they all should

Wrong assumption on my part from

then.

I like damage/winrate tracking and other handy addons just fine. A line should be drawn for things that actually change/simplify play. Babysitters included.

Are you taking it seriously? HMM HMM HMM??

Do you know how fast you can die in dota 2 or league? Less than two seconds maybe you should educate yourself on what compels people to play pvp

Good post.

Thats why I’ve always loved this game. I was a wrestler in highschool, and the 1v1 combat is the same thing. You try to run moves on your opponent to either control/move their body to an unfavorable position, and as they try to counter it you look for exposed vulnerabilities to counter the counter.

WoW pvp has always appealed to me because it feels a lot like that, ESPECIALLY playing a ROGUE. Because all my moves are crafty and close range and fast and I have to juke in and out like a real wrestling/fight/etc
the battle for control wearing each other down until someone either makes a mistake due to lack of focus, fails to employ moves/abilities due to fatigue (mana energy etc), or is just overpowered by the other player (better gear/physically stronger wrestler/opponent)

A lot of people hate on WoW PvP due to balance issues, but the system itself is amazing, and in my experience, on of the better simulations of real life combat.

Why don’t you just educate me? Start by using examples of PvP in MMORPGs though. Also why are you commenting at me on a post from Feb 10?

I was agreeing/complimenting your post, and I didn’t realize the thread was so old, somebody bumped it recently. I’m not sure why you took offense to anything I said because none was intended.

/confused

Oh that was to the Shaman, not you!

I think 'Im the one that bumped it. Soooo sorry that you got blamed/yelled at/whatever, but like I said to Inemia:

I, too, had a reply to a post I made and it IS only polite that a person responds, right? Sometimes it may take a little time, but people who are living on planet earth should understand real life constraints and where WoW forum talk really fits into that. I, for one, applaud you for coming back and showing not only good etiquette and manners, but a strong sense of community.
