Why is my PC running 27 agent.exe’s and 3 battle.net.exe…when the launcher is CLOSED
Restarting your computer end them all?
You might have ; download future patches and … Boxed checked.
Also look at your tool bar.
ya restarting it removed em all but you’d think when the program was closed the other 27 prosses would also go with it.
If you just want to get rid of agent without rebooting, bring up the Windows task manager and right click delete.
Having the same issue here ( as well as the Latency and DC’s that I have raised tickets about).
Have restarted multiple times. Upon restart, Task Manager, no blizz process’ running. Open battle.net launcher - instantly 4 process’ running.
that might get rid of them but if i close the launcher even I can’t open it back up untill I rebo even in i end all the agents and battlenet in task manager
4 seems to be the norm for battle.net.exe tho why three of them keep running when you close it I’m not sure. warden maybe?
I have no idea what warden means in this context. Google didn’t help me there
I know in TM, they have different priority levels… That’s about where my limitation on knowing anything about that ends
The last time I had problems with multiple agent.exe running was when they did a battlenet update. I deleted WoW and restored from a backup.
If any of you folks still have this issue try reinstalling Bnet.
Step 5 must be completed - delete the Battle.net folder
just select “exit battle.net completely” from the dropdown under game launch and all the agent.exes will go away. i only use the launcher if there is an up date
I really like how if you start the PC and don’t open battle.net for a few hours you CAN NOT OPEN THE PROGRAM and have to restart the PC just to I can run it.
That’s not a common issue, so perhaps something else is interfering with launching it. If you wanna troubleshoot, please start a new thread with your diagnostic info or open a ticket with support.
In the future, please don’t necrobump a thread from 3mos ago.
I was just about to reply that as well, Elocin. This thread is a totally different issue than the one you were reporting and is also pretty old, Kerpz. If you’re having that issue I’d try the steps here and open a new thread or ticket if they don’t help.
