Hehe, keep dreaming.
You’re not getting a rooster.
Hehe, keep dreaming.
You’re not getting a rooster.
Its going to be the Santa sleigh mount they showed off
Rooster and tiger will be a Twitch drop mount
1 Carat Diamond Prices All $4.07K / +0.52% Range $4.04K - $4.16K $4,068
Seems kinda valuable to me
Sure - at the retail level.
Now go on Facebook Marketplace and see all the “previously owned” diamonds people are begging to be rid of at less than half the retail price. Its sad.
And don’t even get me started on lab-grown diamonds. My employer paid for me to take the gemology exam (CGA) and I can’t tell the difference (except for the “required” etching that identifies them as such).
You might wonder how can anything concocted in a laboratory can compare to what’s organically found in nature? But with new technologies and sustainable practices, there’s a lot to be said about the benefits of lab-created diamonds, which by the way, are very much “real.”
If you really just love the look? Buy lab-grown. 1/3rd the price and they look better.
If you want true rarity? Invest in endangered species
Can you buy a used spectral tiger?
Yeah, although it’s against the rules.
You mean via account buying?
I want to see some unique transmog items. To be honest, at this point mounts are just a number to add to the total. Either I’m using my Dragonflight mount, or riding the broom so my characters don’t get stuck in a doorway. Another mount isn’t exciting for me at all, but if I could dress my character in some unique outfit that makes people go “ooooh where did he get that?” that would be cool.
Perhaps.
I value a lot of common mounts, because they are appealing to different characters. Since I use the [Per Character Favorite Mounts] addon, I get to select the random mounts that match the characters. Warhorses for my Forsaken or DKs, Elementals for my Shamans or Mages, Demons for Warlocks, etc.
On the flip side, I have some rare mounts that just don’t fit any character aesthetics, and therefore, they hold less value, other than working towards the 400-mount achievement.
Same. I actually lost interest in mounts during early SL because there were just like 8 recolors of each that I couldn’t even recognize.
Too many mounts. I’m just numb.
Gimme cool moggies.
Yes, fellow glasses enjoyer lol.
You are looking most refined. Now if only they’d add a “face” option so we could wear something like a hat or scarfie as well as glasses.
I happen to enjoy seeing rare mounts.
I believe things should be kept rare because they lose that “wow factor” when everyone has it.
I love my spider but everyone has it so it’s not really something worth bragging about ya know?
Idk, maybe it’s selfish of me but some things should remain unique and rare.
Hmm.
There aren’t many of these nowadays aside from glad mounts.
Fleets of alts and acc-wide collections means any of the low droprate ones are pretty common now.
correction the Santa Sleigh mount is whats going to be the Trading post bonus item i thought this was talking about the trading post my bad
Like the AQ mount or the scarab lord title or glad mounts or things you had to just be there for.
Is it selfish? Am I being unreasonable? You’re a reasonable guy, what do you honestly think?
I think it’s cool that there’s a handful of rare mounts but there’s really so very few of them these days, and the couple of people I’ve seen with scarab lord bought their account.
Honestly I am OK with things being rare that required more than dumping out your wallet. As salty as I am over the AQ mount, because I was FREAKING THERE AND DIDN’T GET IT!!! I agree that things like that should remain exclusive, but that Zebra you got because you paid 60 bucks for a second account, or even used WoW token gold? Nah man, no reason to keep that tucked away.
People want to be seen, to be unique. Sometimes the best way to do that is by just putting in the time required to have things people no longer have access to. No problem with that.
Now theres a True Story.
I have one Glad mount… and I hate it (Primal Gladiator’s Felblood Gronnling)…
“Rarity” is interesting sometimes but quite honestly I’d rather make a new friend in game than have a rare mount.
Friends in this game (these days) are the rarest thing of all.
No joke.
