has been a sad panda since.
I donāt understand the appeal of that mount. Itās just a boring blue ghost cat ground mount. Even back when it was first released it wasnāt that great. Is it literally just because itās rare? Because meh.

Yeah that mount is getting around 7+ Million now in the AHā¦I brought mine during WoD and only paid 240K for my Magic Rooster Eggā¦but since they allowed more gold on player that raised the prices really highā¦

I have the rooster - been riding it all over the Korrak Alterac Valley event. When I pop my Spectral Tigger two or three others will do the same.
But when I hop on the rooster I get compliments! (who even gives compliments like that anymore)
I will say itās pretty old-school low-rez thoughā¦ If they want to give it away - and Iām sure people would flock to it - they should modernize it a bit and make it sharper.

Ion has already stated that the spectrals are highly unlikely be going on promotional giveaways.
Sad i want my non armored one.
While Iāve earned a ton of āimpressiveā PvP mounts I seem to use the rooster mostly in Alterac Valley and other large-map PvP in part because my larger characters (hello tauren) just look hilarious on it. Itās one of the few things that still makes me smile almost every time.

Once everyone has it, itās worthless.
Much like gold or diamonds, rarity is what gives it value.
Itād go over fine. Better, even, because nobody has them.

Nah, let people get the things they want.
I value my fel werebear form even though people can still get it. Same with the Dreadnaught set. People can still get the Vicious Warspider pretty easily too yet I value that a lot too.

Nah, I stick by what I said, once everyone has it, nobody will even mount up on them after a month.

Thats the funny thing thoughā¦ diamonds really have little value because they are not (naturally) rare. DeBeers and other supplies artificially choke their availability to maintain a high price.
Right out of college I used to sell diamonds at a Zales mall store. While I was successful, I finally had to stop because I felt so sorry for all those people blowing 2 paychecks on diamonds when they should have been investing instead. I mean if you genuinely love the look of a diamond by all means get one - but donāt do it because marketing and artificial scarcity talks you into it.
Iāve had the rooster for a long time and I donāt like it because its rare - I like it because its comically amusing. The only thing would be funnier would be hundreds of them flocking around
