So, for tomorrow I expect the servers to be down from 7am PST to 9am PST and then also from 11am PST to 12pm PST they will also perform a live maintenance as well. At first, I read the maintenance part on both warnings and thought it was just a typo, but reading comprehension kicked in and I see the second is a live maintenance.
Hopefully everything goes smoothly, and nothing is extended.
Nod, like I said, for a while I read maintenance and what times where listed. I was like wait, the times don’t line up, hence I thought a typo. Then I read that one was downtime and other was a live maintenance.
Just want people to not go, blizzard doesn’t announce anything anymore as some people also for some reason don’t get the warnings on their launchers.
They should take all the time they need to address the multitude of bugs in-game atm. People like you constantly whining about maybe missing half a day of WoW have your priorities completely wrong.
I’m not whining how long it goes down. I personally think they should have not released it for at least one-two more months to iron out all the various issues. That said,
I was trying to be informative to people that might not read their launcher.
I like maybe a few others might have not read it completely and went why aren’t the times lining up.
I plan my day around the downtime. So, I do get annoyed when they say it will take 2, 4, 6, 8 hours and it gets extended 2, 4, 6 hours or more like many other players.
You plan your day around downtime? Bro, it isn’t a necessity to play this game, go ask that girl out, or go touch grass, or even pick up a side gig. Let the people who maintain the game maintain the game.
There are two separate notifications. One is the ! at the top of the battle.net app for 11am-12pm, but that is for the battle.net servers themselves. WOW will not be going down. It’s just a friendly reminder that you MAY experience login issues during that maintenance. It’s a live maintenance so they are not actually taking the servers down.
The notification at the top of WOW is 7am-9am, which is when the WOW servers will be down.
Yes, I plan to do other things when the game is in maintenance mode because I don’t work during the day anymore. My spouse works during the day, so if I value my life, I better not ask a girl out. I don’t need to touch grass as I play with my 4 dogs daily and can mow my own lawn just not as easily as I used to. As far as getting a side gig, I have health issues that make it harder to do a lot of things I use to do.
I again have no problem with people doing the work maintaining the game. I do not understand why you’re coming at me like this. I was trying to be informative to let people know the game will be down tomorrow at two particular times, one for physical and the other for possible login issues.
From the Support Calendar on the Support web page. Note that Game maint is on the game tab on the launcher, while Battlenet is the yellow triangle up top of the launcher. I added the forum time converter to display your local time.

I won’t even be playing at all tomorrow most likely due to it being election day (here in US anyways). No time for video games/distractions on such a big day
There’s a number of “24 hour coverage” streams/special events I feel like a kid in a candystore, haven’t even decided which one I’ll be lurking in yet
I want to see it down all day so I can get enjoyment out of people being shocked that extended maintenance happens on the same day it always has for 20 years.
