Tome of the wilds: Mount Form Question

Hi, I have a quick question about this tome. So, I know if I were to use it I would gain a new option for stag form. But, what about my travel form? In areas where we can’t fly, will I still turn into a stag if I click on travel form, or will it simply not allow me to use that button?

I worry because the tome’s stag form is apparently not as fast as travel form, and I often use travel form in place of a mount. So I’m just wondering, will the tome’s staff form replace my ground travel form, or can I still use my ground travel form in places where we can’t fly?

The travel mount is its own form. You will still have a travel form and a separate mount form. I don’t yet have the flying mount so I don’t know how that works but I’m certain others here can help you out.

As for the difference in speed, are you sure? The mount and travel forms appear to be the same speed for me.ee
