I want to unlock tome of the hybrid beast to tame feathermanes. I am a little confused on what I need to complete. I understand I need the glorious campaign and breaching the tomb achievements. In addition, I need to complete the night of the wilds quest to unlock the mount. Do I need to level up my artifact weapon, or is that no longer a requirement?

Only thing(s) needed is to be lvl 110 and to have the artifacts fully upgrade,though null and void now, so try to get the quest/tome if you can now.

I never leveled a hunter until after the artifacts were gone. Is there any way to earn this without that ? I would love to tame feathermanes.

I don’t know besides you possibly already having it or there being some achievement-base rewards connected to it.

Check the vendor that sells the class mounts and they sell it.
I got it on this toon after BfA but I don’t remember if I needed to do anything special.
