This item is not able to be sent in mail to a separate but linked battle.net account even though mail and gold sent is instant. This is a very serious bug and should be addressed

Having the same issue. Hit 80 on my warrior and can not send the tome of cold weather flying to my alt on the same battle.net linked account.

it was not working on beta, i reported it and never received any update on it. No idea if its intended or not.

I am also having this same issue. I haven’t seen anything posted as to why it’s not working… If anyone has anymore info on this can they let me know.

same here I am quite surprised
Why? blizzard are hopeless and don’t actually look at reports or feedback this and the loot boxes from quests we’re both reported a lot on the beta and look where we ended up.

I just tried this and it seems to now be working across bnet 
They even updated the tooltip to now say binds to blizzard account.
