issue here , no pet to send as spriest, so please fix

It is broken for me as well!!
I figured it out. If your a warlock like me get the tank pet or just get Brann to tank, wait for 2 slams then start pumping damage.
Well it took me 40 minutes but I got it. If you are not a priest or if you are doing it on a harder tier. I was on tier 3 and my Brann kept dying.
What worked for me: I face tanked him right where he spawns. He does the slam and throws you, run right back to where you were. If he gets a cast of firestorm off and hes not on that little strip of ground he starts on, he despawns. If he does ground slam outside that little strip he spawns on, he despawns. if you can keep him right around where he spawns you can do it. Interrupt his rage move or whatever.
if i drop the candle he resets, if i leave the area of a candle on the floor he resets, if he grabs me he resets, if im out of range of his grab cast he teleports to me grabs me and resets, if he knocks bran unconcious he resets, if i get him to 10% hp he resets, how the hell did blizzard even manage to make a fight this buggy, its impressive

Just tried this, I can’t get the boss dead in tier 2 or 3, he keeps resetting.
IMO this delve is junk, whoever created this never tested it properly. Wake me when it’s fixed.
Definitely bugged, however if your class has some form of threat drop, like Fade on priests for example, you can use it to force him to go after Brann which doesn’t reset the fight

Found a solution… i positioned the NPC so the guy respawns on top of him. he ends up tanking and i just watch the threat and ocvassionally cast my diseases as a dk. took awhile but it worked. better than restarting or waiting for a patch.

Somehow got through this with the following strategy:
When he’s casting ground slam the first time, I popped Icebound fortitude and made sure I was walking into him when he cast it. Then, he grabbed me properly and I was able to attack him while he was holding me.
I didn’t do this enough times to confirm if Icebound fortitude did anything, but walking into him when he finishes the cast definitely helped.
I’ve done this boss on a few different classes now, but this is the first time I’ve had had Tomb-Raider Drywhisker despawn on me during a fight. I was on a monk and just as Drywhisker was about to pick me up, I cast Touch of Karma and suddenly he despawned. It took about a minute or so for Drywhisker to respawn, so I just killed him without using Touch of Karma this time.
This happened so many times just now, bountiful aswell … as pallah I just stacked and when ground slam was cast, I hammered right mouse button to maintain attacking. Seemed to work and stop him from resting on me. Hopefully will work for you peeps also.
