Just started a Mythic on ToS and the door to Demonic Inquisition is sealed. I’ve even done all the other bosses. This has never happened before in my runs. 3/4 Relics are on the pedals so the issue isn’t to do with that.
I’ve tried:
Reloading
Running out and back in
Restarting game
What the hell is going on?
You triggered the script that opens the door either before it was looking for it or before it was closed (which it is, is largely irrelevant), meaning the door is going to remain closed until next reset. There’s zero work-arounds at this point - you just need to write it off and come back.
In future, do not simply run in and slaughter Goroth as soon as he becomes targetable. There’s an NPC (I forget its name off the top of my head) standing in front of the doorway to the Demonic Inquisition at the far side of the room who, when Goroth starts to emerge, turns around and passes through the doorway with the door closing behind it. You must let the door close completely before Goroth dies. Goroth’s death is what will trigger the doorway to open again and the NPC to come back out, which won’t happen if it hasn’t finished its previous script.
