Anyone have any luck getting these relics to get the coffer chest? I have not seen 1 drop yet.
Killing trash mobs (lots of them) drops Tol’vir Relic Fragments, 6 of those can be put together to make a Relic to open the chest. They don’t contain much more than a chest you’d find in the world (ie some war resources and a grey vendor item) so not much worth the effort.
Drop rate is pretty low. Full evening doing the initial quest chains, daily quests, and assaults in Uldum only netted 4.
I guess I won’t try to farm. I’ll get 6 when I get 6.
oh that’s what that was. I thought it was leftover drop from old world Uldum and deleted my 1 of 6 in my bag.
yes, don’t sweat of those fragments. Once you have six and then create the relic, you still have to find the chest. And when you open it, you get stuff but it’s doesn’t seem to be anything different from what you get from the regular chests in the area.
I just want to add some clarification - while it may not be that much different, I got upwards of 200 coalescing essences from the a chest I opened earlier today in Uldum. Just thought I would throw that out there as the tedious-ness to get the mats to open the chest does have a better payoff.
