And if you go by the classic forums, alot of those people aren’t happy with what they actually got.

oh just write off the fact regular 5 man groups require 5 people while you bot 5 characters to be controlled by you

Clearly, I am a multiboxer, which is why I argue strongly for the removal of multiboxing.

The difference is the people you ordered them for aren’t real they all go to you. I’m not saying multiboxing is unfair I’m saying you pay for more you get more.

BRO, you know pathfinder achievements are no longer needed to get flying in WoD and Legion when shadowlands hits right? Chalk one victory up for the people.

Ooohh, made up words. I can do that too! “snarflejordufusblix” Means: Those that spam multibox threads.

Why not. Posting on an alt. What are you hiding? An army of followers?

Multibotting really gets to the core of the problem and makes you all come out of the woodwork to defend your cheats

If they are controlled they aren’t bots. Imagine a robot but I have to move his arms for him and make the beep boop sounds

Botting is already illegal, why would we fight bot?

The focus of this thread is to make Multiboxing illegal, after that, you can multibox and i will leave you alone.

A small victory, tell Blizz to make it flying at max level again for gold :+1: That’ll take some gold away from those multiboxers since they have to buy flying for each character :open_mouth:

Let’s put some logical thought on this for a second. Bear with me here…

Actually, this thread is pretty off the rails. Ain’t nobody got time for that.

Multiboxing isn’t against the rules. Let people play the way they like and move on with your life. What is it doing to you that has you in such a tizzy about it? I expected this thread to have been quite dead by the time I was packing up for bed… but here we are.

Now, before you reply, please re-read my response. I’ll type the important bit again right here for you:

What is multiboxing doing to you that has you in such a tizzy about it?

Ruining the value of professions, for starters?

If you are going to take the whole “it doesn’t matter move on” approach why post anything at all? This thread ultimately doesn’t matter has this thread got you in a tizzy?

Multiboxing ruins WOW economy and going against the intended way for the game to be played.

If a sellable world mount has a 0.1% droprate, a 10 man multiboxer pretty much have 1% droprate.

So is the intended drop rate for the mount 0.1% or 1%? Because the price and worth of the mount would be so much different when its 0.1% vs 1%.

You really need to understand what Blizzard are saying here.

It is ‘unfair’ if it is something you do that others cannot do within normal play. Using an exploit is cheating, because a player will receive a real benefit that is not obtainable by others who choose to follow the rules and not to use that exploit. However, ANYONE can multibox - anyone who purchases a separate account and learns how to do it, can do it. The only limit is cost, and even then with dedicated work you can afford to pay for it with ingame gold.

Is it intrinsically fair in something like a pvp situation? Probably not, but fair has never been a word that gets you anything more than a popcorn jpeg in this game, where pvp is concerned. While I am not particularly fond of multiboxing, I just wish people could get their facts straight.

I’m curious what would happen if multiboxing was banned. Would all these people go :relieved: and play wow and say all was good in game or would they find something new to keep me occupied for scrolls up to OP 5 hours

I think maybe referring to sl.BFA is already done.

The end of an expansion alone ruins the value of professions, this isn’t new. Multiboxing didn’t just suddenly break everything.
