Only guilds that suck are allowed to exploit it lol imagine “well we couldn’t kill anub all week so we had to keep killing the others”
I guess hotfixing achievements mid way through one of the most major raid times on reset day takes precedence. Hope you guy’s lockouts get fixed, it would really stink to just lose your lockout entirely.
" Did I get my 5/5 clear this week in a given raid size (10 or 25)?
If yes → You are done for the week and please don’t try to get more clears/kills in that raid size.
If no → finish your current existing instance and then be done for the week."
I guess they don’t realize when you go to rezone in there is no “finish your existing instance”, its flat out reset. It seems like when the bug happened either you got the full reset or you didn’t. Guess that silly achievement hotfix just COULDNT WAIT, and instead a pretty major bug CAN WAIT until next reset.
Turns out some of the guildies still had the ID so we are just doing anub prog
Please reply if a group does every boss up to Anub and it reset do they basically get double loot on all of those bosses because they didn’t full clear or will you the loot be rolled back since others aren’t allowed to run twice or was the “Very very fair” just bs
Tons of talk about guilds, but what about toons that ran as a pug?
My situation: Ran 25 man TotC with a guild that needed to pick up a few random players. We cleared up to Anub, but was not able to get the kill before people had to leave.
Am I safe to join a new group and reclear the raid without fear of repercussions?
if they finished the run not sure maybe they will ban you maybe not would be nice if they gave us more info
From this information Im assuming I should be good to find a new group and reclear to try and 5/5 the 25m raid.
- I am not 5/5 in the 25m raid from my raid ID that was reset by the bug.
- I have no current Raid ID right now for the 25m raid, so once I zone in and kill Beasts I should have a new raid ID for this week and that will become my current raid ID.
the problem is somebody could have went in and finished the raid id making that specific id 5/5 I feel like you will be fine but its your risk to take
Yeah it would nice to get clarity on this part right here.
The statement that says they will be monitoring logs for groups. This doesn’t clarify anything for players that pug raids. If what I qouted above is going to be enforced they need to monitor logs for each individual character. Because if they just check groups there can be an oversight and say someone who isnt exploiting the bug joins a group that is without their knowledge, is that person going to get backlash for just being in the wrong place at the wrong time?
I guess until questions like these get more attention it is just a roll of the dice.
I will be looking for another raid group this weekend to try and get a heroic Anub kill. If I end up getting actions against my account which have never happened in the 16 year of having it I’ll just have to try and appeal it. The only problem I have with that route is I’ve not had great experiences with getting in touch with support, my last ticket took somewhere around 2 weeks to get a response. Hopefully there is more clarity before I try to find a new raid so I dont have to potentially go through that.
lol blizz isn’t responsible for how your guilds cringe officers decide things. normal people would just treat it like a normal week and continue the lockout instead of trying to exploit a bug with pugs
You ever heard of raid logs? looool
If it was that easy everyone would just not log and get away with it.
I know this was a mistake, but ToGC having a bi-weekly lockout would be awesome. I’d love to be able to raid on my main more.
I love how some people play with words thinking they will be able to kill everything a second time except Anub without consequence. That’s not how it work…you know you aren’t supposed to kill a raid boss twice a week, don’t even try to cope with the idea that you can kill the first 4 bosses a second time.
