he is the best boy I could have hoped for, I won the shelter dog lottery.
he’s rock solid house trained
crate trained
not food aggressive
does well with other dogs, well with cats
takes treats super gently
knows “sit”, “down”, “come”, “wait”
doesn’t bark too much
he’s basically perfect.
his single biggest fault is he does NOT know how to walk on lead, and a 90 pound dog dislocating your arm cause he pulls so much is not fun. we will work on this.
As the owner of a 41kg dog (which google says its around 90 lbs)
Your best bet is treats in the hand that you want them to walk on.
Keep them in your hand and every minute or so give one.
It will teach them that if they stay on that side, they get fed.
