A pretty large percent of all politicians are narcissists. Some are better at keeping it from public view. Some let it fly. Many disguise it variously as rabid zealotry against the other party, the "rebel speaking hard truth to power", the Angry Panderer, etc.

Very nice! I actually do the same thing now, get my ballot in the mail. Gives me time to properly research each choice and make sure I'm picking the ones that resonate with me.
Started taking voting very seriously in 2012.

Your voice is important. I can sympathize with the sentiment but I think we are moving away from the days of having to support "the lesser of two evils" with actual "good" options to choose from. Look at the ones that do not take corporate money. Those are the ones that aren't bought off and will genuinely work for us.
