I have been doing the Oily Invertebrate rare everyday on 6 characters and the Recovered Containment Pack finally dropped! I’m sure everyone knows how much of a pain it can be to get the proper mixture going with randos screwing things up.

You might be talking about the one that drops from Bubbleblood.
The one from Oily Invertebrate is a greater pain to farm and a much rarer drop than the mount from Violet Mistake.

I have been doing this everyday since launch even when the WQ isn’t up. You’d be surprised how much people would give a blind eye even with verbal communication.

I’d be surprised if anyone paid attention to their chat. Most I know turned off trade and general long ago. Many I know also turned off chat bubbles. I’ve found that it’s rare on my three servers for anyone to pay attention to their chat box.
So you’re expecting people to just know what it is while doing quests over there, when it’s not explained at all. I blame Blizzard, not people.
Lots of people know about it, but they dont care and just want do do the wq and be on thier way.

To be fair many don’t pay attention to chat.
I had someone talking away to me in the Arena and I didn’t even notice it til they had moved on. ( I apologized).
It’s a quest area as well, so many are just wanting to get it done and move on to the next one.

I turn general chat off because people rarely say anything of value in it when I have it on. I also hate the world quests in SL so I’m not trying to take longer than I have to to get them done.
I got super lucky and got that on my first kill of invertebrate which was at the same time that I tried (and succeeded) at getting every boss from the pool. Sometimes, I just get lucky.
But not usually.

No…thats the players fault. Its not hard to see you will screw people over by just looking at the values displayed before dumping your ooze.
It’s worse cause it’s a quest, daily quest and WQ spot.
