Thank you Corlia. I am so sick of these people. I am so sick of this trend online of being the absolute worst. It just goes to show that most people really are not good and actually they really suck and are cruel and selfish.

My little doggo is my best friend too so I can’t imagine what you’re going through. Your ex-guild was insensitive at best and heartless at worst.

I am so so sorry you had to go through what you went through and then to hear this.
My dog is 13 and I have had him since I was 10, and I take him two time a week for fluids because his kidneys aren’t working properly, he has to be on a special diet, and these fluids.
I think about this a lot but I would I want to think I have always given him the best life.

Sorry for your loss
I had a fat cat that liked to go outside. She did this for years and always came back inside. On October 2018 getting close to Halloween she went missing. She is still missing today 2020

My cat made it to 18 too, it was devastating to lose her. I’m still two birthdays away from my life without her being as long as my life with her. I spent all of that last night with her and held her close, whispering “I’ll be okay.” and “I love you.” She passed as I was driving to drill and my parents texted me to let me know. I went to morning formation looking how I felt and, while they didn’t let me go home, they did let me sit in peace by myself to grieve and asked nothing of me.
Anyone who can’t form an emotional bond to a pet is a monster and should be avoided at all costs. You made the right choice fleeing that guild. Remember the happy times, and the bad too. Reflect on them, but don’t let them consume you. Friendships are about the memories made along the way, and 18 years is a long and healthy life span for a cat. I’m sure you made your cat as happy as your cat made you.

RIP Ayzlin’s Cat.
I put my fur baby to rest about 6 months ago, March 30th being the 6 month mark. I had him since he was a year and a half old, he was 14.5 when he was sent to the rainbow bridge.
He died due to complications of diabetes and just old age. He was a purebred red min pin. He was my absolute pride and joy, his name was Axel.
I miss him so very much. It’ll get easier to deal with each day that passes, but you’ll never get over it.
Just know your cat is at the rainbow bridge now, with my Axel! Waiting for you and I.
Also, those people in your guild are absolutely disgusting.

Not in the same way many of us do, apparently.
If we were an actual guild that did actual stuff, like actually raiding every week, and you weren’t Alliance I’d send you an invite. We might be barely alive and full of casuals but we’d never say crap like that.

Rainbow Bridge
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together…

Christ those people are (something I can’t say here). I know had that been someone’s reaction when my bearded dragon had a prolapse with the vet on vacation and had to be took out back and shot in the head like old yellar (to put him out of his misery), they probably wouldn’t have walked away without a few broken bones and a few missing organs. My sympathies it’s always a heart-wrenching experience, especially when one has to make the decision themselves to do it or have it done. still can’t watch that one scene from infinity train with the kid and her lizard, that’s just how long it sticks with a person…
