The night elf flip animation is client side only. I’ve been playing since 2004 and I just assumed that if I saw me flip, so did you. I don’t know why this is so shocking to me…
If you didn’t know this before, now you do!

everyone’s client is just generating the flip or not on its own, makes sense, since it has zero gameplay effects ![]()
I’m shook.
(Not really joking.)
So I have seen Nelf flip, but I never once thought that it was RNG unique to my own personal client, but that does make sense.
Fixed that for ya.
Thanks for that reminder, had forgotten about it.
In actual Vanilla people used to get “stuck” in an animation on some people’s screen but you wouldn’t see it on yours. I’m guessing it was the same cause.
I agree with you guys, it definitely makes sense. Why broadcast that to the server if you don’t need to? However… I dunno, I just always liked the idea that if I went on a super flip rampage, other people would see my greatness!
Haha #SomeChanges, Blizzard pls fix? ![]()
