Got busy with RL and had no time for BGs all week until this afternoon. Just went 4-0 on my pally solo queuing during BG week. :scream:

Figured I’d share some alliance love since people usually post “I’m 0-XX queuing for alliance BGs”

…I gotta say it was a good day.

I had a nice little 4-0 solo run last night on Alliance, too. In most of the battles, most of the players were really there to play. A couple of them had that guy that starts prepping for a loss immediately, but they mostly came around by the end.

We had one TP where we were up against a pretty good combo of 2 healers and a tank FC, which alone is enough to make a lot of people quit, but everyone did a good job making their work difficult, and we had a pretty good rogue running flags with help from the team. They were trying hard to stay together and circle-heal, but we were pretty aggressive about separating them and shutting them down.

We had another TP where at least 4 of the Horde bailed after we capped first, and their lone priest was clearly tilted but stayed in. We also won a couple of EotS handily with good communication and support defending bases.

The end of the streak was an AB that was going pretty well until someone didn’t call an inc, and then everybody got triggered and fell apart.

I prefer my BGs with mustard, not relish. Relish is an inferior condiment.

I’ve wondered about why people do that and then it hit me: They’ve literally lost so many times that they’d rather expect a loss than have their hope crushed.

Maybe those people should focus on having fun win or lose, it is a game after all. If you aren’t having fun, maybe its time to play something else. Going into something with a bad attitude never turns out well for anyone.

I have fun too … and I have been mercing extensively . I don’t think I can go back to 15 minutes Horde queues any longer .

Even if the game is lost and irredeemable … you can indulge in some good old fighting road fighting and enjoy yourself .:laughing:

Edit:- I wish I could play with alliance as Orc though . Losing Bloodfury ruins my macro and the loss of hardiness also sucks . Mix the factions and let teams be made up of both factions .

Horde toon got backfilled into a losing brawl after an 18 min que time. Such a fun experience! Also, can’t get a brawl in at all today. Not at all.

That shouldn’t happen. I was on one of my horde and saw some guy get backfilled into a Kotmogu that had less than 30 seconds until the loss. As alliance, you re-queue and it’s not a huge inconvenience. As horde, it’s wasting 15+ minutes in queue. Absolutely ridiculous.

I play both factions, rarely ever Merc. I’m sympathetic to the Alliance experience. It can be much worse on horde side when you catch a wave of losses and long que times. Backfilling into a losing BG after a long que time is brutal.
