if roast goes in a roaster, what goes in a toaster?

(slightly burnt but with butter on both sides and a jam.

Toast is good. Toast sweat, however…no thank you.

We made a bunch of biscuits and tossed 'em into the freezer. Dragged a couple of them out, stuck 'em in the toaster oven to heat them up.

After I took them out to place them on a paper plate, what did I see when I moved the plate?

2 little biscuit sized puddles of biscuit dew on my counter.

Great.

My fav toast is basically just “somewhat hot bread” instead of any kinda crunch with toasted bread lol.

Edit: with loads of butter.

No want crunch. Just butter and carbs. nom

Depends on the bread and how I’m going to eat it. Eg, I like rye less toasted than white. Also, if it’s going to be a sandwich, generally I like bread less toasted than usual, where if I’m just gonna schmear something on it, than I like more toasted.

I prefer roasted tortillas over toasted bread.

In France, do they just call it toast?

Buttered with an overly runny egg on top x2 or x3 depending on the chef.

I don’t eat a lot of toast due to wheat allergy, and gluten free bread is CRAZY expensive + it tastes like cardboard. So, if I have “toast” it’s usually with American cheese (aka grilled cheese sandwich) or French toast. As a kid, my favorite toast was with butter, sprinkled with cinnamon & sugar.

Toasted to a lightish brown, topped with melted in butter

Crispy, even blackened in spots, English muffin with light to medium butter. :+1:
