I was a feral main until DF kind of exhausted me with becoming a clone bot. Trying Boomy now but being an average player and trying to be a caster class like boomy just feels like hard mode. Almost 1600 in shuffle but I’ve been grinding for it. Hit like 1500s on my fury warrior with only 10 total buttons I was using as an experiment. Have the vods to prove it lol. I LOVE full moon on boomy but it’s hard to play when getting trained or vs a team that has infinite kicks/stops. Feels like casters aren’t for noobs and it’s harder to be an average player as a caster compared to melee.
I’m sure the MWs you’re playing with at 1600 are doing great. Thank you for your insights.

Bro, this is just straight up not true. Yeah, obviously rating isn’t everything and there are some higher rated people not as mechanical or knowledgable in certain areas as lower rated ones, but it’s a LOT more disingenous to say that rating means nothing.

Playing Destruction. While the spec can perform well playing against certain classes feels very not fun.
Played shuffle vs Unholy, Fury, Windwalker yesterday in Ruins of Loarderon. It wasn’t nice experience. After 6 games I casted 4 Chaos Bolts.
The worst part is that while Destro has instant dmg abilities if I want to burst and create some pressure I have to cast Chaos Bolt and against certain classes it’s just impossible.
I am doing my best to use gateway/circle properly, applying curses, kicking healer, not LoS my healer, fake casting but it feels like some classes are playing different type of game.
While I know there is already lot of slows and roots I feel like at this point Destruction deserve to have Confarglate root back as a replacement for curse of exhaustion. My slow does nothing against gap closers.
While I had some nasty losses I went 5-1 in my last shuffle so that kinda changed my mood.
But after all I don’t really care. I will always play Destro even if it’s a C tier

See almost as this is 2022 all over again. Thr same was said about rss but who cares right. So petty and hurt. Actually funny.
I have never mentioned a class keeping me dowm but maybe, ferals affs and sps this season. Maybe not. What I do is expose is the coddled warriors that believe they should always be s tier. I have a warrior alt myself that I will get to 1800 for the set without much issues like seasons past. Do better next time.
Since we’re on the arena forums, I’m going to just assume you agree getting 2400 in shuffle right now vs 2400 in blitz right now is 2 very different level of players skill wise
