title. randomly reset my progress while I was finishing garrosh. 60% to 0. that’s like 20k gold. Also, another bug randomly removes the buff after using the item, incurring the 5min cd and no opportunity to progress.
Also, the extra action button frequently disappears. Sometimes before you click to spend the Awakened element (wasting your 5 min CD), sometimes before you can return the item (costing you the 5% progress and your 5 min CD). So far, I have missed 3 out of 7 attempts.

I ha dot go from 95% to 5% yesterday. I had been doing it solo why farming the other quest. Lost a heap of Mats.

this is a joke right? how can this be so glitchy? already made this item a gold sink. now random mats needing to be wasted as the extra action button just goes away after spending ten Awakeneds. ive wasted 30k gold for absolutely nothing but a bugged quest.

At this point with the patch only two days away, have to hope they have some undocumented fixes coming since the quest NPC is also finally getting textures. When it’s this bad, they typically don’t talk about it in the patch notes.

i am in the same boat. the last 6… 6 attempts all ended with nothing accept lost mats, AND a reset 5 minute timer.
i cant believe blizzard is not doing anything to fix his.
Same here blizzard please check! I’m from 90% to 5% like seriously?? Grinding for like 10hrs straight and this happened. Gold spent on awaken as well. Just speechless
Just went 60% to 5% so this is still an issue. Submitted bug report. Lovely gold sink.
Feb 21, Still bugged, 50% to 5% . and extra button disappear. What is wrong with blizzard??? If you can not fix issue please Just remove the timer??? Do not play those cheap trick try to extend the player online time
Best way to avoid this entirely is to go in to Proving Grounds. Start a trial, use your vellum, end the trial early, use your awakened elements to get quest credit, repeat. Finished in less than 10 minutes.
It’s clear at this point they aren’t going to fix the progress reset issue.

May and its still bugged, i lost atleast 15 min waiting because the button to spend the awakened disapear and it goes on CD

It is late May and this is also bugged for me. I clicked the extra action bar and I got no credit and the extra action button disappeared after clicking it once.
Wasting gold.
The same is happening to me. Keep losing the extra action button
