You will notice most people that call Baine a traitor are either Undead or Blood elf. They don’t really share the founding ideals of Thrall’s Horde.

Hey now! I’m an elf and I am pissed about where Sylvanas is taking the Horde. When I saw “Safe Haven” I was actually excited, it means we will actually have a great leader again (I hope).
But this is why I don’t play alliance, the OP and with his nose pointed upwards towards the clouds and their better than thou attitude…screw that crap, I’ll play the loser, underdog any day of the week than play with a bunch of leetist hacks.

Sylvannas betrayed her principle of always giving the Forsaken a choice. I don’t think the Horde as a whole really care about betraying each other at this point.

You can not support sylvanas and still think baine is a traitor.
The two are not exclusive to eachother.
Baine is a traitor. So is sylvanas at this point. Luckily the lord and savior nzoth recently accepted me into his fold. So i dont have to support either now.

I personally believe Baine is only a traitor to Sylvanas and not the Horde itself. And I believe Sylvanas is a traitor only to Thrall.
If we assume Sylvanas does care about the state of the Horde (and there are moments where it appears she does), then both Baine and Sylvanas are loyal to their vision of what the Horde should be. Their respective actions intend to strengthen their vision of the Horde. They just betray each other in attempting to do this.
If you take X-men for example, few people would call either Magneto or Professor X traitors to mutants. However, Magneto is clearly a traitor to X. They both care about the fate of mutants, but Magneto’s methods are more extreme.

That’s like irl when someone leaves the military and wants to be a family man. There ain’t nothing wrong with that, and Thrall already owned up to the mistake of making Garrosh war chief. Not sure what else you want from him.

Thats not who hes referring to, hes referring to baine.
Sylvanas is loyal to herself and a little bit to the forsaken. She is clearly nursing a grudge towards her undead state. I think Baine would be a much better leader than Sylvanas as I believe Baine really wants what is best for the horde as a whole, where Sylvanas just wants to try and recreate the forsaken in her own image.

Most people post on their mains or characters they feel more connected to in the forums and if you pay attention you will notice most anti-Sylvannas thread are started by the founding horde races excluding undead, such as Trolls, Orcs and Tauren while the pro-Sylvannas are mostly started by Blood Elves and Undead.
It’s not hard to understand.

Dude, I think most of us who play The Horde are not happy with where Sylvanas ( I call her Hellscream the sequel) is taking the Horde, I would have much rather preferred Vol’jin or Bain be Warchief.
