I will love to pvp but I have things that need completing first. I mean god I have been playing since Beta and my achieve count really sucks. I don’t even have flying past MOP…yay pandas!

You guys seriously need to rethink your life choices before you cross the line into federal crimes, assuming you haven’t already. Federal cyber stalking laws are a thing you know, and this could be considered that. Mind your own business, leave others to theirs, how about that? And if you actually do have proof something bad was done, how about you go to the police instead of forming an online lynch mob.

FYI following people around and disrupting RP events is stalking. Reports have already been filed with proper authorities.

second of all, someone playing the game doesn’t apply as stalking, let alone to apply to the law you brought up. from what i understand, you were in stormwind, not in some private area.
that is such a slap in the face to genuine victims of stalking/domestic violence and smells of another flying monkey using legal jargon in an attempt to scare people. your gm being called out for what he’s done isn’t stalking. no one followed him here. if he’s in a public setting like stormwind with no attempt to go anywhere private for roleplay, that’s on him.
placing an in-game bounty on someone is par for the course for emerald dream. it’s not stalking, to imply that playing the game via pvp is stalking is laughable. don’t like it? leave.

When someone posts up a batch of fake stuff and then stalks them across not one but TWO servers, there’s a definite pattern there.
Place your bounty all you want. We love PvP in our guild. Hell we used to make the Horde quit Wintergrasp, and would give them such a beating that they’d have to heart at the rez NPC in their camp. We also played Planetside and were the number one outfit on the server. But that’s only some of what we’ve done.
You people sit there and act like you know me. You’re so arrogant and foolish. You don’t know me. You don’t know anything about me. None of you have lifted up so much as a finger to even attempt any line of actual communication. You just throw stones because your stalker friend says “its cool to do”.
again, i don’t even know who you’re referring to. this isn’t some top secret collaboration being mounted against you. all i did was place a pvp bounty.

Here is the relevant law text.
(2) with the intent to kill, injure, harass, intimidate, or place under surveillance with intent to kill, injure, harass, or intimidate another person, uses the mail, any interactive computer service or electronic communication service or electronic communication system of interstate commerce, or any other facility of interstate or foreign commerce to engage in a course of conduct that—
(A) places that person in reasonable fear of the death of or serious bodily injury to a person, a pet, a service animal, an emotional support animal, or a horse described in clause (i), (ii), (iii), or (iv) of paragraph (1)(A); or
(B) causes, attempts to cause, or would be reasonably expected to cause substantial emotional distress to a person described in clause (i), (ii), or (iii) of paragraph (1)(A),
shall be punished as provided in section 2261(b) of this title.
So using an online service in such a way that causes emotional distress is enough to do that. You are at the very least walking that line, if not stepping over it. Doesn’t matter a bit if it is public or private.
