To the criers that say it's impossible to get DMF buff on opposite faction week:

Have a buddy queue you for a bg, rush for the buff, and accept queue the second you get it. You’ll enter the bg with 100% health even if you were 1% hp with dots on you. Works every time. Have nova world buffs installed to auto take the buff you want the moment you click on the npc.

If you have defensives this is super easy. On lock, just have soul link + void walker bubble + health stone ready and ez. Alliance is privledged and paladins can just bubble for the buff. Priests of both sides can shield with enough time to snag buff and accept queue.

This is part of the challenge you signed up for when you chose a pvp server. If you don’t like it you should have rolled on wild growth or lava lash.

I’m on these forums a lot … I don’t recall anyone ever claiming it’s impossible to get DMF buff when it’s at the opposing factions area.

In fact, I’ve seen a lot of locks selling sums over to it on the regular.

Except there was like 3 threads today about it

If anything i’ve lost more DMF buffs to alliance death squad raids camping the horde DMF buff when it’s our turn.

People are more frustrated about the imbalance of having civilians + guards surrounding elwynn dmf whereas mulgore dmf is empty. Like good luck trying to fight in elwynn. Alliance just abuse the guards like they abused the civilian in ashenvale whenever they’d take fights at zoram.

Remove DHKs for good.

I just got my DMF buff in elewyn today and didn’t have to deal with guards. This issue is news to me, must be a skill issue. Just don’t run through goldshire and you’re fine.

Completely agree here. Never stopped ganking or meaningfully reduced it. If anything I kill questgivers just to make a point to blizzard.

Actual griefers don’t care about DHK and will kill quest givers anyway. Especially when they get to join a raid group and derank people and spoil their fun. All it does is impede WPVP. You know what needs to happen with quest givers that are deemed so important? Make them invulnerable. Problem solved.

There’s a reason TBC canned this mechanic immediately. It existed for such a small part of the game’s history and here we are making it part of the vanilla’s legacy just because it happened to be in at the end. It was already clear to the devs by that point that it was a terrible system that needed to be removed and it should be clear to the devs now. Remove DHKs.
