Do you really want players to skip all of the 50+ dungeons and just hit MC straight as soon as they level to 60?
On private servers, just equip 50+ gear, know strats and you can just enter MC and run it. I remember not bringing any pot, any elexir, being in greens, easily doing MC. I am not sure if others used pots, but they definitely weren't geared for MC, at least on paper.
Why would I waste time on gathering some blues when I can easily get the epics? Is this the raiding progression you guys want?
Better to keep it so the gimp specs have a chance to raid rather than rebalance end game PvE just so the OP specs feel challenged.
Unless of course you also want to rebalance end game PvE spec viability. Rebalance some rebalance all.

If they gives us 16 debuffs slots at launch the right thing to do is to re-tune molten core and bwl but they won't do that, they let the content be inconsequentially nerfed and say we told you so when MC's and BWL's a joke.

You do realise like 50% of preraid bis is better than mc gear?
I agree some tuning will need to be done, or should be done, at any rate. A touch to hp, damage output, resistance, etc.... It doesn't even have to be much for each, just enough to make guilds want to run scholo, strat, brd, lower and upper a few times each to get somewhat geared.

Yes but tier 1 is better for raiding BWL(AND PVP) than those pre-raid BiS, because of stats and resistances.

Yes, we lose 20 healing, but we can 18 stamina, 20 spirit and 2 more intellect. And the shadow resist, not to mention the set bonuses.
And if you are talking about Ban'thok Sash, that was later addition.
They already said they are using the original 1.12 values for raids, and have no intention to change anything. There is no debate to be had.

If they had such view, they would not have rolled out content gradually. They understand that progression needs to be real.
I stopped raiding on private servers long ago. Even scholo, strath and other raids become useless with 1.12. Just go straight to MC dude, why waste time...
I agree they should tune the raids, but they have said that they are using 1.12 data and don't want to change it. 1.12 data includes stat values on gear at that time.
So i wouldn't be worried about people easily clearing MC as the bigger issue would be that 1.12 itemised gear is better in most slots than MC gear, so people won't even want to run MC.

Didn't they basically say they didn't want to do raid tuning though?
Not sure how "Authentic" MC/BWL/Ony will be with a 1.12 base and 16 debuffs, but that is what it sounded like they were going to run with. A re-tune makes sense to me but it just seems unlikely at this point.

There is progression raiding..... that is why they are timegating raid releases and events11/06/2018 01:22 PMPosted by GoldmaggotThey already said they are using the original 1.12 values for raids, and have no intention to change anything. There is no debate to be had.

Time gating could be like live... you get a busted version sooner than later but you get to play it now.
After a month or 2 of live beta it starts to resemble something playable.
Edit: i am sure they are rushing this out the door due to the BFA issues.

Anyways, I'm with you. Strat, Scholo, BRD, Upper and Lower BRS, DM, and even Mara were relevant for a long time and it should be that way again.
They are definitely very open to feedback and have stated as much. Now is the best time to help them out.11/06/2018 01:22 PMPosted by GoldmaggotThey already said they are using the original 1.12 values for raids, and have no intention to change anything. There is no debate to be had.

They also said that they wanted our feedback. Just because they say they don’t want to doesn’t mean that they won’t
Yeah, but most of us are terrible players with a microscopic attention span.
OP..if you feel that strongly then hopefully you get into the beta.
Do what you commented..bypass all dungeons and go right into MC.
Then post numbers.

Im in favor of re-tuning BWL and MC. They were already not very hard if your raid had pre-bis, let alone MC gear itself, and 16 debuffs will make them even easier. All other raids are already tuned for 16 debuffs and should not be touched.
I really don't think you understand how over tuned MC would need to be to be difficult. MC is the equivalent of a normal raid in today's raiding climate.
And because the mechanics on all fights in MC are so basic you can't do anything but add health and damage values. there is a laughable amount of raid damage going out in MC so it would all just end up with extra spiky yoyo tank damage.
