The quest To Old Friends in Val’Sharah where you need to kill 50 mobs with Ysera’s Wrath is busted right now. The fireball of doom comes down and doesn’t do anything, my level 120 main does more damage. This quest is borderline gamebreaking.
Dunno if it’s because of the Legion Invasion going on or war mode.
Edit: Legion Invasion didn’t matter, I doubt war mode does either.
Also to anyone with a similar issue, there’s a patch of easy to kill ones that respawn near the edge, that way you won’t get killed by the ridiculous amount of spawns.

Yeah, encountered the same issue with war mode on. Eventually slugged through it by rounding them up as a prot warrior and spamming Ysera’s Wrath but it’s not ideal.
I am seeing this problem also… the targets take little damage, and regain full health immediately, like evade, with no evade prompt
For anyone else who comes across this thread, I think the best solution is to just hover waiting for Lyrathos Darkdrove to spawn and summon a bunch of small plant NPCs, which he does in a random location every like 15 seconds or so. These plants DO die instantly with Ysera’s Wrath.
Much better than rounding up a bunch of Shimmering OIeanders that will likely reset every few seconds.
