To no life or not to no life?

So I been talking with a bunch of old buddies about classic wow. One of them said he is gonna no life it when it launches (ditch kids/GF and lock himself in a room, jokingly of couse).

I initially wasn’t going to but I been getting caught up in the hype and the more I think about it the more I am gonna do it. Take two weeks off work smash out a warrior 12+ hours a day (this time orc not troll). Obviously we are all 15 years older now and presumably cant maintain a no life for longer than the initial stint so where do you guys line up on hype for classic… to no life or not to no life?

So I think the main hurdle is obviously leveling. If you can get to level 60 within those two weeks and get yourself some gear, you should be set! All that is left is maintenance.

I have no life by modern standards, so i’m golden to waste time in wow :open_mouth:

Blizzard allows children to play on your account and it’s not considered account sharing. Better teach those kids how to pick flowers.

I normally just burn my vacation days to stay under the carryover limit by the end of the year. I don;t do anything special on those days, would end up playing this anyways, so I might as well burn them at launch to get ahead of the curve.

i took the week the 26th off so i can no life it hard

Just gonna take a week off work and Vegetate in the man cave in front of my PC. Got a snack bar to my right and mini fridge to my left, bathroom right across the hall and a couch behind me. I’ll tell my wife I love her Sunday night and ill be back Friday.

Might want to look into getting a trainer down there too, just so you don’t go full Cartman.

This is actually the other big obstacle I am trying to juggle, I figure taking an hour a day to pop up to the gym do a circuit buy food and come back home wont affect levelling too much… does that still count as no life?

I wanted to no-life it but getting time off around Labor Day on short notice (3 months is considered short notice) is tough, so I’m only half-lifing it.

Oh man. Too old, can’t no life it :frowning:

so first off, burn all social bridges, delete all social media, fall off the face of the earth to everyone you know in life besides those that will play classic with you, go on one giant shopping trip prior to launch, get you dem hawt pawkets, pizza rolls, frozen pizzas, you aint got time to cook no meal, you gonna preheat dat oven, slam yo pizza in there, set a timer, being it back to your PC and play more classic wow, you gonna hear that timer go off b throw it at the wall becasue its distracting you from your classic wow, eventually youll smell a pizza burning and run out to get it , and you fookin eat that pizza while you run deadmines, or do that one hard af quest. YOU AINT GOT NO LIFE, YOU AINT GOT NO FRIENDS JOIN THE MC RAIDERS WE AINT GOT NO LIIIFE

Waaay ahead of you… outside work, been doing that for years anyway :stuck_out_tongue:

Shopping this way is old world mentality… we live in an age of convenience, surely I can leverage deliveroo, uber eats, dominos, to secure faster distraction free leveling? Answer door grabbing food surely easier than preparing it myself?

Maybe I could even work out a pre-organised meal plan with these services… The “classic wow meal service”.

You gonna need all the money you get for wow subscriptions you need at least 10 years of game time so I suggest going to discount stores like Aldi’s, or what ever is cheap in your area, them delivery people can’t be trusted you gotta pay for an expensive meal and tip them for bringing it to you, second option find a partner that cares enough to not let you starve and that will bring you meals, without distracting you.

There’s no hurry this time round.
Don’t neglect things in your life that are important over a video game.

My 48 hour work week is crammed into two days. I got plenty of time to kill.

This statement is an oxymoron to me… :stuck_out_tongue:

I will no life the first week, I have 3 kids and a wife but when vanilla launches they are all dead to me.
