Yeah, but the drops were epic!
Itās somewhat sad, but 96 is a pretty damn good run.
Honestly, surprised they didnāt do more prep to hand off for the transition before this. Sheād been in failing health for awhile.

It is more along if they choose to preform the transition, being healthy or no. Only true historical hiccup of transition of the crown was when Edwards VIII abdicated suddenly due to relationship (and other pro-questionable connections) iirc, which was stressful for parliament, family and country during the given time as well.
Also known as the Year of the Three Kings.
Or at least James.
I too embrace the hard won rights secured by our forefathers and wither we care or not care about the royal family it is still WORLD history in the making and that by itself is worth taking note of.
Well at least we got the plotline for The Crown season 7 or 8.
As a brit, the meme game on twitter is incredible rn
Think Trump will be at her funeral?
honest to god, i thought the queen would outlive me somehow. iām still processing how to feel about her being goneā¦ as a canadian, iā¦ donāt know how to feel about her not being around anymore. i mean, itās not like she was an everyday part of my life, but sheās on our money, and my grandmother used to have a room set-aside just in-case she ever visted (i know, not likely but thatās how she was) soā¦ i dunno.
guess weāll have a king soon. long live king.
Exactly what my husband and I were saying. Kind of crazy to see.
I liked her overall except for the treatment of Diana, but beyond that, she was an amazing figure.
And the entirety of my parents lives. She was crowned the same year my father was born.
I was starting to think Elizabeth was immortal
Seems like they plagiarized the writers for GoT season 8
Who woulda guessed she was a follower of Bwonsamdi?
RIP QE2, best of luck KCIII
Well in 1977 she was in the Bahamas and sat with a few average folk partaking in their daily lives and religious rituals to get to know them better. Bahamas does have history with Louisianian and Haitian Voodoo - so. Ya never know, she may have had a few brews with the ol Baron back in the day.
I could actually see her sitting on a beach smoking a cigar and drinking rum.
