The issue isn’t the Slime Cat itself, but Blizzard’s refusal to admit they screwed the pooch in their own description of how to get it. That is why the SC should be in LFR.
I’ll put it this way: how do you think people who only raid on Normal or Heroic would react if Blizzard had turned around at the last minute and said, “Nope, sorry, only Mythic raiders get the Slime Cat”?

They are not the same. The slimecat is a seasonal mount like the KsM mounts or the glad mounts.
Anniversary/event mounts are not the same thing.

The only achievement that was wrong was the overall achievement. Each individual raid achievement already stated normal.
