The answer? On Z day.
Nothing has ever happened until it has happened. Blizz said it would be for ANY difficulty so people thought it was going to be LFR as well. I don’t see why this thread has nearly 1000 posts

A technicality doesn’t let you or Blizzard write off the fact that LFRers got screwed over.
When the achievement was made that said “any” LFR was not part of the actual fated raid system. When it was decided that LFR was decided to join the fated raids they didn’t adjust the achievement immediately.
LFR was never intended to get the mount.
Blizz never said it would be awarded from lfr. That was an assumption.
LFR raiders did not get screwed over.
You can’t get screwed over when LFR was never awarding the mount anyways.
There was evidence to suggest that any raid was the intent.
Someone changed it to opt LFR out.
My shot in the dark? Ego dies hard.

Yes any FATED raid.
When that achievement was made LFR was NOT intended to be a FATED raid.
The decision to make LFR fated then changed the need for the achievement to clarify.
That’s why the link from WoW head shows
Normal awarding the mount
Heroic awarding the title
Mythic awarding the portals.
LFR was never getting the mount.
I mean the entitlement from the LFR players is why this thread keeps going.
Whatever the intent be it intentional, blunder or last minute change lots of players still feel burned and you aren’t going to fix that bridge by making them commit to higher raid levels.
Or condemning them as entitled. Most are just going to walk when you try to brainlessly macho issues away.

I don’t know how else to explain to you that LFR was never awarding the mount. The only reason it was assumed was because of an achievement that wasn’t changed immediately. Even the blue post addressing peppermints question stated LFR was not receiving the mount.
Normal and higher has always been why was awarding the slimecat mount. No tantrum is going to change that.
It’s a self created issue by entitled babies throwing a tantrum because they aren’t getting a raiding seasonal mount for doing LFR.
Blizzard reputation was already questionably in the toilet and this anti-player based decision just tells your average player that they don’t care and have no intent of changing their absurd design philosophy’s.

Solo and LFR players aren’t the average player.
Their designs are not absurd. They reward things based on difficulty. LFR and other trivial content have never given good rewards.
By merit of the complete statistical data that you and you alone possess?
Soar nerfs are also telling of how they’re not interested in what the player actually wants.

The same data you presented.
Actually if you look at achievements the majority of the player base has some boss kills in raids.
No one is ever going to be 100% happy.
They did not. The mount was never meant for LFR, it was a typo.
That is not an accurate or complete data set in both quantity and quality.
You are only going to draw conclusions based on a small/active/hardcore part of the player base that is actually playing rather than the thousands or millions of potential players that have turned away because of the idiotic choices made to do things like excluding the Slime Cat mount from LFR difficulty.

You won’t get any honest answer out of Blizzard.
If there is any dissent then they’re under NDAs to tell us otherwise.
I’m not the one that made the achievement 
Maybe blizz needs better quality control for what gets released otherwise they can expect reactions like this in the future.
