I think that I feel the worst for this k pop group. When they get on stage, they’re going to be met with some cheers but also with some heavy grunting, mouth breathing, and boos from some pretty funky looking men in the crowd who probably think that screaming into a microphone alongside an electric guitar that plays 1 note is high class musical art. It’s going to be a very awkward situation for them when they’re just trying to do their thing. I mean, if you don’t like the headliner act, just don’t go.
The K-Pop thing is for the OW2 stuff, not WoW. So it’d likely bring something to that game if anything.
OW2? i thought that was considered completely dead.
No, it just got review bombed on Steam. But people still play it.
Next will be Gnomes in Mankinis!
i feel bad for them, i saw gameplay myself and it didn’t look good.
Gameplay is mostly still the same. The main bone of contention was them promising that PVE mode, then dropping it and now only giving story missions here and there at $20 a piece, lol. Plus the whole changing the monetization suddenly thing.
They killed Overwatch 1, a perfectly good game, for a sequel nobody asked for.
And the very reason for the sequel even existing was the PvE, which was discarded lol.
I miss Jeff Kaplan, wonder where he went now lol.
Blizzard is so awfully mismanaged on the inside- it has to be.
20$ a piece? Jesus. That’s a real 2020 gaming company moment
kpop and blizzard games is like having taylor swift for d&d games… not any sense but corporate just milks %'s
It’s gonna be interesting when a bunch of 30-50 year olds show up for some K-Pop on the stage, that’s for sure lol.
Younger people don’t go to Blizzcon, as far as I know. Everyone that goes is an adult.
Every game Blizzard has, except perhaps Overwatch 2, is aimed at the older crowd.
Even Hearthstone is rooted in Warcraft lore, so most people that play it are likely WoW fans as well, older folks, not kids.
I hope the devs aren’t too disconnected from the fans- they might just be, lol.
I’m not even into K-Pop, but I wanna watch it for the reactions lol.
It’ll probably be on OW’s stage. Most probably won’t even see it, lol.
Why dont you? Instead of trying to turn WoW into a Anime cartoon?
How about a DrD. Twitch drop Transmog? I mean if we’re suggesting odd things, why not?
ya thats the thing, i think it is more of a blue collar decision and less the actual lead devs. Kpop for blizzcon , even overwatch is odd.
They can’t turn wow into a childish anime, only Blizzard can, and that’s the exact route Blizzard is trying to take retail anyway. You might want to install wrath.
Stop giving them ideas.
they do that already lol. with the recent black pink group that came to the us this year.
let me introduce you to jpop… where the same age group of men are jumping up and down to see 14 year old girls be cute lol
