I just love WoW’s atmosphere, lore and music… it’s worth my sub money for that reason alone. You know, sometimes people play an MMORPG just because they want to be in a high-fantasy world with an exciting and unknown adventure ahead… Not just following wowhead for best spec and min maxing chars all day.

Yeah the overall aesthetic and feel of WoW is part of what’s kept me playing. Other MMOs almost always opt for a pseudorealistic style, which personally I find a bad fit for the genre.

Now on the other hand if you told me that Microsoft had a Fable MMO with the franchise’s signature stylization intact in the works, you’d have my attention.
