To anyone who says BFA has content

And DHKs were a thing too. Not to mention the weekly decay.

M+, achievements, mounts.

Lol, I got one throughout. Didn’t know why the guy had a white health bar, but he had an alliance symbol on it, do he died. That red number 1 still haunts me lol.

Same thing happened to me… I was mad.

Most people have pretty much summed it. There is content, but MOST of it is a watered down version or a copy paste version of the content in Legion.

So like me, you’re probably burnt out from running the same old thing despite it being in a new world and environment. The brand new content that was introduced in BFA (i.e Warfront, Islands) are just not cutting it to the level or magnitude that M+ (when it was first introduced in Legion) and Mage tower did back in Legion. It also doesnt help that the reward system in this game is just extremely poor that you dont actually look forward to doing anything.

I don’t feel like it’s just running the same things over and over. In BC and wrath, people ran the dungeons hundreds, maybe even thousands of times without this kind of burnout. I feel like it’s what the gear treadmill had become. Everything awards everything, so nothing means anything. It’s fun to see the stories once, but there isn’t anything to pull people away from their favorite activity outside of shooting for a specific item, like a helm/chest/shoulders or a trinket, which causes faster burnout.

“Having content” isnt a metric for quality tho. BFA has plenty of content. It is bad. The DCEU has plenty of movies. They are bad. Stop with this.

The problem with BfA is that, unlike legion and even wod, there isn’t much to actually do. The content outside of mythic+ and raids were island expeditions and war fronts. None of those are very fun or well thought out. Like I said if they were given more time with BfA before releasing it I’m sure it would have turned out way better and more polished.

Just look at the war ship we have, it’s pathetic. I’ve said this before but if BfA would be been released before wod and legion then yes, maybe it would have been fine. It’s like everything in BfA is worse than what we’ve had previously. We spend more time grinding for less. Nothing feels worth doing in this expansion.

I didn’t think 8.1 would change much and it didn’t. I do hope that 8.2 or a later update will however. That’s what I’m hoping for.

Yes, but then you did it with Guildies and Friends, someone you laughed with and shared wonderful experiences, not go go go off to the races with complete strangers that most player see WoW as now. Also the Dungeons required more patience, time, and skill to complete.

Incursions but really if it was more player vs player oriented rather than like a world quest situation where you might get killed by players. But I’m biased, more of a pvp player.

World PvP during incursions. I’ve seen zones turn into Vietnam.

Through most of BC, yes, but I’ve been pretty much solo since then, and it wasn’t until late MoP that I started feeling burned out, but that was a long content drought. Once WoD hit, I stopped caring about reps, in legion, I took a huge break, and now, it’s just getting worse for me. Don’t get me wrong, I like the game, but only in a casual sense, in which things get done once or twice, then I look for something else to entertain me, be it an alt, a new type of content, or a new game. WoW has dropped to the level of GW2 for me. Also a really fun game, in short bursts.

A title, yes. Gear, no.

What are you talking about? You gained ranks, ranks allowed you to buy better gear, like rank five allowed you to buy blue bracers, rank 13 allowed you to get the helm, chest, and shoulders. You have no clue what you’re talking about. I’m going to walk away from someone just ignoring facts and making things up. Have fun putting misinformation out in the forums. Just read that page I showed you, all this stuff is right there.

mate, most players only do any form of content for the rewards and that goes for every expansion, from tbc to now. even raiding the main focus of the game’s end content is done mostly for the reward.

that being said people who say bfa has content are still correct regardless if you personally don’t like the content bfa offers because it is still content.

I like islands and warfronts. They’re entertaining for me.

http://vanilla-wow.wikia.com/wiki/PvP_rewards I stand corrected. You could buy gear through just HKs

Name content in any expansion where people would do it with out rewards.

Does RP count? Cause I do like to RP.
