I hope you’ve all fully prepared yourselves for some ridiculous queue times on release. After seeing the queue times today I better not see any of you coming here to complain about them on release, we all know what we got ourselves into here. I know I’m 100% expecting it and am fine with it.
Anyways, post some ideas on stuff to do while we wait on queue on release. I might do some cooking to have some food ready to go when I finally get into the game, any suggestions on what to make?

I <3 queue times! I played on Dark Iron and typically had a 45 minute queue time whenever i logged in. Gave me plenty of time to take care of other things.

It’s the authentic Classic experience, right?

I think a lot of people will quit in like 3-5 hours… so I am not too concerned
Stardew Valley awaits me.
But seriously the queue moved really fast. Not sure if it’s because people were grabbing names and hopping off or what, but if the queue moves at the rate it did today I don’t expect much of a wait time and layering will smooth over the experience.

Lol yep, exactly why I’m not stressed about it. I’m not going for any kind of super hardcore progression world first raiding either.

What if i do come here to complain? What are you going to do about it? /danceonmailbox
The choices are queue times, streamer cancers or foreigners who dont know english and are typically bad at the game.
I’ll take my queue.

My TV is right beside my PC in my living room, I have recently subbed to a new streaming service and haven’t seen most of whats on it including the entire run of Game of Thrones. I am prepared.
Herod is going to be the Classic version of Illidan. I expect the WPvP to be bloodbaths.

Queue times aren’t an issue with me as long as there aren’t any restarts or constant disconnects. Once I’m in, I won’t be logging out for a minute.
Isn’t the point of layering to create overflow layers for high pops?

It’s 2019… why do we still have queue times? This isn’t 2005 anymore, why is this happening?

No worries, 90% of the people will quit and go back to retail in a month. You can have your queue times back.

It’s basically a network bottleneck when it comes to authentication. It is a very difficult problem to solve, because once you narrow it down to network, it can be 1000 things.
