I just want to thank all the gatherers for all you do. Your time and patience has not gone unnoticed during this expansion…
It is obvious these devs DO NOT respect your time and patience but those of us that have done more than 20 minutes of gathering know your frustration…

What are you talking about gatherers are making the most money outside of the rare recipe drop lucky ducks.

The ridiculous number of instances where I’ve wasted time trying to get a harvesting nodes that have spawned inside other things…they really need to fix that.
I find it better than how it used to be during the first year or so in other expansions.
We have a form of flying that is quite enjoyable right off the bat and we no longer have to worry about botters out competing us.
Id say this expac is an overwhelming win for gatherers.
except for buggy nodes, thats the only negative as of right now.
With solo shuffle queues lasting 30+ it’s been a blast flying around gathering herbs and mixing it in with some wpvp.

I found a basilisk egg bot farm. All the telltale signs were there such as the hyper tabbing. Aoe Spam when there’s nothing around yet.
And that 1 barraging hunter who’s not a bot
I spend a lot of time mining…and feel more incentivized to do it than in previous expansions. What are you talking about OP?
I havent seen a train of druids yet, so its still not as bad as previous expansions.
There were 2 druids, 1 hunter and a monk in that group
All on top of each other spamming while the hunter went around and picked things up with barrage
I have no idea why the monk though…
Oh I saw something like this north of the walrus town. They were killing the fish people very quickly.
One time in BFA I saw 8-10 bots following each other as Moonkins beaming anything in range.
So what you describe is still quite a bit better.
It makes sense for the egg farm though because they use bait to bring them out and spawn faster
Spent over 100h farming this month… I saw something odd that left me standing there for a minute…
2 players mining a node. One player turns the other into a baby dragon, mounts up, and flies off as the baby dragon follows him like a companion pet lol. what on earth…
It was better because I was on my mage and I aoed things before they greytab out things and I made them work for me
I still reported them but free eggs are free eggs
I Lament every time I run out of vigor going up and down mountains in the waking shores on my double gather characters. Also so many bugged nodes, and no glove enchant for faster gathering. I made the mistake of getting a custom Khaz pickaxe with perception and now my gathering is so SLOW I can’t mine inbetween mob hits and have to dismount, kill them, then mine.
Thats the ride along option you can turn on at a DF trainer.
Have you considered taking the extra 4 seconds to build speed vigor before you get down to your last 2?
Those 4 seconds will save you half a minute
Not how it works, and again you and others never made videos of your gathering routes that you’re so ‘expert’ at not running out of vigor on. Was it you or someone else that suggested I only gather ‘special’ trait herbs? All you HMPs look the same.
