Yeah, night elf males are ugly as fudge. I’d rather go with the female character.

Back when I started, the male running animation just looked funny, and the female one didn’t. And since in Vanilla we ran EVERYWHERE, it just became a habit. Last few have been male, cause it’s not so much an issue today.

Orcish women, just can’t get enough of them.

I just feel like it, and you can make some good xmogs with them that you cant do with males (and vice versa)

The first female i did was a LF draenai and it was only because I HATE those huge bulky male models. Same with orcs.
After the first female character I kinda realized I liked watching my butt wiggle as I run…

I like the aesthetics of the human female models for the classes I prefer to play.

I pick the gender for the character usually by trying on the tier sets on Wowhead or a test character, test out some animations for class staple spells, crack a few /silly 's, then pick the one I like more. My stable of alts is fairly well rounded.

Before a time where you could just queue with randoms for content in the premade group finder, it was necessary to appear like a Goddess or angel to other players to get my loots.

Now you can be the most hate-filled person on the planet and still clear the content easy.

I play both sexes but mostly women because if I’m going to spend all that time looking at someone from the rear, it might as well be an attractive one.

Not at all, but considering when you’re running around fighting, mining, etc, the most action you see is from feet to hips… I just feel happier with the scenery.

Probably for the same reason I play as Rosalina in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. Having something smokin’ hot to look at while gaming.

I just think the female characters look better. Male characters are too muscular and bulky. Some races are ok though
