…you tried it didn’t you? Dude you gotta try it. It’s fun. You can join a guild with 1000 players thats greenwalled with other guilds. GChat is always popping as is zone chat. Game mechanics, wisecracks, the whole nine yards. Meanwhile chat is dead in retail. That’s what its all about. And then the rush you get. Everyone gets cocky lol. The HC addon announces deaths so everyone bemoans bad luck and particular zones. And after all that you GO AGANE. IDGAF aabout the new dungeons in retail. Don;t miss out mr stingey-pants.
If you think bloated egos in hardcore are a plus, I can experience that in trade chat and general chat in every zone. If I want to challenge myself, I am capable of carrying out a challenge of my choice without a long list of addons that control my wow life.
No. You’re wrong and you’ll never realize it until you try. Do what I commend ye. Try it.
Was this post really necessary?
I don’t want to try it. It’s a meme game mode. What I do want is for blizz to make a singular HC server so all you degenerates can be funneled into your own containment zone and the rest of us can play without you interacting with us.
You tell em bud! HC is fun. People who are hating on it, just aren’t good enough at the hardest part of the game to do it without dying.
With all the recent posts begging people to play “hardcore” I’m guessing people are losing interest at an alarming rate
What on earth are you on about? Go have fun in hardcore but honestly right now you’re acting like a jehovah’s witness trying to convert people.
You have to accept that it’s essentially solo play. A lot of people don’t want that solo play and trying it isn’t going to change that. I’m enjoying it currently but it’s not the only mode I play.p as I also like doing group content.
Honestly I did try it and now I’m an even bigger hater But no honestly HC is great, but it seems like it’s for such a specific audience. Personally I hate 1 life, I like exploring and taking on more than I can handle so it just doesn’t mesh with me. And furthermore, the social aspect is SUPER strong but again… specific audience. The “bruh on God fr no cap goat sheesh” crowd isn’t my crowd. But I guess WoW classic has always been full of 35 yr old men cosplaying high schoolers lmao
I just turn off chat.
not gonna lie, i love the concept, but the amount of griefing sucks the fun out of it.
you’d be surprised at how many are actually twitch zoomers though. the “pog, monkas, sus” degeneracy is nauseating.
You could guess but you’d be wrong.
“Heroine is so awesome! You just don’t know it because you’ve never tried it.”
That’s what you sound like.
Stop trying to push your gimped game mode on the rest of us.
Chat. As opposed to grouping with others…
I get that it’s an interesting version of the game, but it’s not really holding my attention. Though, to be fair, I’m currently still having fun in Wrath.
All these wet blanket answers are hilarious btw.
You gave a wet blanket post topic. What did you expect?
That’s one thing I love about HC. It’s like old wow – everyone chatting having a good time.
HC itself is quite fun if you enjoy the sorts of challenges it imposes. I think there’s value in having a singular life that you protect to the best of your ability - it makes big milestones even bigger, you obtain a huge sense of accomplishment, and form attachment to your character and their journey in a way that is somewhat different from having infinite respawns.
The sort of players HC has drawn, however, are not fun. The increasingly toxic mentality and behavior of HC players as it grows in popularity with streamers, is actively beginning to ruin the fun and appeal of HC as a game mode for me and others. There is thankfully no rule saying you can only participate in HC if you roll on Bloodsail, but, what was once a fairly fun atmosphere has quickly soured.
Hardest part of the game lol. Lvling isnt hard even as a hardcore player. U avoid the hardest parts.
Lets see u cant group right? Which elminates any dungeon quests and the chance of a tank pulling too much or a mob running into another pack to aggro it.
My guess is 50% hardcore players are either locks or hunters because of pets and the fact they are 2 of the easiest classes to get to 60.
You want hardcore restrict it to warriors, rogues and priests then come back and say how hard it was.
