LOL. yeah ok. As like 20 horde sit on every point.
I just won it. Working as intended, and it is not happening as you claim. Git gud imho.
When the next battle happens, put it up in group finder. If the balance isn’t restored, blame your faction.
My 5 man party took one right at the start…then the flood of horde was reminiscent of the battle at hardhome. I can assure you, this was unwinnable solely based on numbers. Shard hopping seems to be the way to go i guess.
Saw 3 battles after said fix, all ended with <100 A / 3k H. Steamrolls by the horde, made multiple circles around capture points, met exactly 3 alliance on the way and ~15+ horde at each point. “Git gud” my butt.
Can’t help it if you get beaten by the Horde. Form a team, communicate and win.
We get stomped just as much.
Lies.(10 symbols)
Holy cow what a blatant lie.
Do you think if they rewarded an item with full titanforge, socket, and tertiary stat piece of gear from the Eternal Place on mythic difficulty on a victory more Alliance would be there?
Yes. They would.
In such a hypothetical, there would be more alliance there. However there would also be more horde there. There are LOTS of horde in warmode off shards too. We would be in the same situation we are now. Horde would massively outnumber the other side.
I’ve done this on both sides. Horde ALWAYS has a big number advantage. They can try to “Hot fix it” all they want, nothing is going to fix it as long as the majority of Alliance players have Warmode turned off.
99% of the time its not the way you describe.
I haven’t done Battle for Nazjatar yet. Is that kind of like Ashran?
It’s like Arathi basin. Except in this version, the horde starts with 100 players and the alliance starts with 5.
Which again brings the question: How can Blizzard fix something that is out of their control? If the majority of Alliance don’t want to participate, it’s not on Blizzard. It’s on them. Why should I have to receive less reward having the same problems completing my objectives because sharding decided I wanted to be on servers where I’m outnumbered and there are ganking parties?
I started out on a PvE server for a reason. Didn’t want to be ganked left and right as I’m trying to go about my day. Hell, I complained when cross-realm grouping kept forcing me into PvP realms. WM came along and I thought, ooh nice bonus, and tried it. Now I’m pretty much in WM 90% of the time. Even when I’m sitting there unable to complete simple quests because of other players. This even comes along and I get even more reason and enjoyment out of WM. It managed to make this strict PvE’er into a casual PvP’er. I’m sorry to say, if other players of your faction don’t get the same feeling, and would rather stay safe in their non-wm shards. There’s nothing anyone can do to help. It’ll always remain unbalanced. Even if they gave a once a day, or once an event, reward of what I posted earlier. The players who do it for the reward alone will never strive to get better. They’ll give it a shot, see it’s not worth bothering, and go right back. Leaving things back as they are now.
Oceanic servers are opposite American servers. Alliance apparently severely outnumber horde, and reaped the benefit of the American server issues.
Spoken like someone who truly cannot comprehend what is actually happening. You are explicitly one of the people Blizzard is trying to get to turn OFF warmode. You get a nice little bonus all of the time and maybe occasionally somehow find yourself alone or outnumbered in pvp.
The horde has MORE people. Everyone acknowledges this. Even if every person turned on warmode, those little pvp moments where you get camped, will, by default, happen MORE to the alliance. This causes those people that are like you, to turn off war mode. From there it is just a downward spiral. Don’t sit there and pretend there is no breaking point after which you’d turn off warmode.
Also, that player is on wyrmrest accord, a 60% horde RP realm. RP realms have their own shards. They aren’t outnumbered.
In the battle for Nazjatar? On non-oceanic servers? No. They don’t face losses just as much as the alliance.
No-one is denying there are more Horde players. However, you cannot deny, that we’re only talking percentages. If the ration is 56% horde to 44% alliance for example, and 50% of each of those factions went WM, that’s only 6% difference in players hordeside. If the the player amount of WM was 50/65, Alliance WM outnumbers horde. It’s hard to know exact percentage of players per faction who are turning warmode on. What we can do, is easily see that one faction is very into WM and the other not. Luck on shards does play into this. Believe me or not, but I’ve been on shards where I had to deal with more alliance than horde. I’ve been on shards where horde outnumber alliance. The only fix Blizzard can do is have a single shard for WM and a single shard for non-wm. If it turns out after that fix, horde continue to completely outnumber alliance, it remains to be a player issue.
Plus, saying that horde getting stomped is a blatant lie ignores the 90%+ epic bgs, and 25%+ reg bgs alliance tend to win. It’s almost impossible to win an epic bg unless you merc as horde.
On this. Just because that server is 60% horde, doesn’t mean all 60% is in WM. Maybe, just maybe, 50% of that horde would rather just RP without having to PvP. While the majority of alliance would rather have WM on. Going on the percentage rate I mentioned earlier. If 76% of that alliance pop kept WM on, and only 50% of that horde kept WM on. The horde ends up outnumbered.
create alliance character, Turn OFF WM, look at the vast numbers of horde everywhere. Turn ON WM look at the same vast numbers of horde everywhere. The difference is not 56 to 44 it’s 85\15 if not worse.
And the said example guys here so like to come up with “but when they give you mythic reward for AOO you come out”. What is actually happening is when they give this reward half of the horde dust off their alliance characters to grab this reward then crawl back to the horde mains realizing that 1 ilvl 400 item makes no difference and the next AOO rewards are already nerfed.
