The gear is outdated as all heck and I have yet to receive the 370 shoulders from doing the Battle for Stromgarde warfront…please please please give us a vendor from which we can purchase specific pieces of gear from events like these. I only need the shoulders still and RNG hates me. I am sure there are plenty of other people out there that still need pieces as well and are having the same horrible luck. I want those awesome lion head shoulders on my alliance characters finally!!!

Best looking paladin set for alliance i think.
Theres a few ranks of the look too, try the heroic one when you can.
If you really want an item, get more than 1 character to farm it. That’s pretty much all you can do to increase your chances.

Those shoulders have been escaping me for a while now. Pretty frustrating.
Stromgarde doesn’t reward azerite pieces. The set that you actually want comes from the faction assaults, which also don’t reward azerite pieces. To get those, you’ll need to complete the war campaign quest where you break Ashvane out of jail. There’s also another war campaign quest that rewards the azerite pieces that match the drops from Stromgarde. I know, it’s really dumb. You can get all the season 2 drops from the Darkshore warfront.

Partial truths. You can get azerite pieces from the warfront. You can azerite pieces from the assaults. You can get azerite pieces from the war campaign. You can also get it from the arathi rares once per cycle. The campaign is the only guaranteed way to get them though. The others are only a drop chance.
I know…that is the whole point of my post. The RNG of this and most things in the game now sucks and needs to be changed. BTW I have two characters that try every time Stromgarde is up, one Horde and one Alliance.
It is a really ugly system. I have three plate characters to do Darkshore for the elite shoulders, each one has seals to use on Ivus each cycle too, and still don’t have them… or the Arathi elite shoulders, actually. My hunter doesn’t have the Darkshore elite shoulders. My mage doesn’t have the Darkshore or Arathi elite shoulders… got every cloak and set of bracers one could imagine though. You better believe I got bracers.
We need PvP vendors like we did for all the other expacs. Just let us buy the damn pieces for marks of honor.

I feel you, been trying to get the Chest for my Paladin since the beginning. Even with heroics and doing the warfront on both warrior and Paladin… 4 chances in one week. Still nothing
I feel the pain. Two things, first, ANY plate class can farm those when the Warfront is up, so be sure you’re doing it on the alts. Also, the 370 Honorbound shoulders from the event correspond to the 370 7th Legion ones, so run it on Horde side as well.
Believe the war campaign quest where you break Ashvane out of prison offers the choices for helm, shoulders, and chest for the honorbound set. Had the same problem you had until I got to that point in the war campaign. I just need the waist to complete the Darkshore set for my plate class. Edit. You might want to kill the rares when they are up in arathi also.
I feel your pain. I got the full Athari WF set but I still need two pieces from Darkshore. I only have this girl and one another alt so the chances are slim. RNGesus is fickle…
I am pretty sure the only way you can get the full warfront set is from the warfronts themselves. The storyline sets are different.
Im still farming for the shoulders for my alliance mog. It’s the best looking set this whole dumpster of an xpac

Paladin with the full mog reporting in.
I literally made 3 120 plate characters and farmed it every week for this. It took me 2 months.
Also Stromgarde belongs to Danath “Elf Thotslayer” Trollbane.
And for the love of god get rid of “personal loot” rules for legacy raids.
They could easily have the items available via vendor and have the currency be the one War Effort currency that I can’t think of the name for right now.
