TLDR of popular RP guilds on ED

Figured I’d scribble down some tldr info on some popular RP guilds we have here so people have a reference when transferring or looking for a new home. A lot of these guilds focus on RPPVP or just RP, some even focus on PVE. If I missed a guild that is ACTIVE that would like to be listed feel free to let me know, either on here or in game in a letter.

Disclaimer: this is just a tldr so people get an idea of what your guild is about to give people some interesting guilds to look into, this is not a recruitment thread.

Below is a more in-depth table of horde and alliance guilds with more details about them. (Updates to the table will be done shortly and will notify once complete)

Both Horde and Alliance have bar nights, and on the first Saturday of the month, the Alliance hosts a convention for people seeking to learn more about the various guilds.

Racially focused guilds (horde)

Redwood Tribe This tribe of wise Shu’halo’s humbly kickstarted RP back on Horde side, and also run a newspaper for ED.

The Desolate Conclave With the fall of Undercity, the Conclave has risen from the rubble, be cautious around these forsaken.

Band of the Phoenix These elf mercenaries may be low in numbers due to being recently formed but look out if there’s a bounty out on you.

Guardians of Silvermoon Though small in numbers these brave elves will put everything on the line to protect their city.

Elves of the North Like the name states these elves are the protectors of the northern lands on the Eastern Kingdoms.

Might of the Loa Worshiping the Loa is what these troll are all about, whether you worship Pa’ku or Shango, you will be welcomed.

Swiftsilver Cartel Watch your pockets around this goblin cartel, they have no shame in making a quick gold off of an unknowing mark.

Non racially focused guilds (horde)

Soulshatter Clan Fel is the powerhouse for this group of blood thirsty marauders.

Felweed Cartel Smuggling some of the best felweed around is how this cartel came to fame, and some other shady dealings.

Emerald Reapers Tearing up the roughly paved roads of Azeroth on their loud choppers, you know when this biker gang is in town.

Blademasters of Durotar If unlucky you could be found on the wrong side of their weapons, most don’t live to tell the tale.

Ironsworn Regiment This huge army sends some crushing blows to the alliance forces regularly.

Racially focused guilds (alliance)

Clan Battlehammer Drinking and pillaging is the name of the game for these wild beings, and the combination of the two is common for these dwarfs.

The Ashen Vale Some of the nicest elves you’ve ever met, unless you’re in their land, then you better run.

The Gnomish Army They say size matters but not to this army, 3 feet in height and not even a flinch when facing a Tauren.

The Hounds Careful around these beasts, they’ve been rumored to have a bigger bite, than their bark.

Non racially focused guilds (alliance)

Kul Tiras Marines From coast to coast these marines can be found patrolling the waters, watch your back as these marines are well trained.

Coldridge Company Need something shipped alliance side? These are your people to contact, no questions asked.

Lionguard These soldiers are nothing to scoff at, they have many numbers behind them along with the force of the alliance.

Salty Sea Doggos Is a pirates life for you? If not this rag tag group isn’t afraid to walk you off the plank.

The Desolate Conclave is not at all undead exclusive by any stretch of the imagination. Also there’s no reason to be cautious - we literally offer free healthcare.

We are however Necroctatic - in that it’s run by undead and we’re for the advancement and welfare of undead peoples. Living sympathetic to that endeavor are more than welcome. There are special ranks with privileges identical to their Forsaken only counterparts made for them.

Yes. Race exclusivity isn’t always 100%, most of the guilds listed have other races with in but primarily focus on that specific race for recruitment :slightly_smiling_face:

I rather not remove a guild I enjoy. How ever contacting me in discord to tell me about my clerical error would have Sufficed. Thank again for pointing it out.
