For those who don’t know Tka’kthath drops the item which starts a quest for a grind of nerubian parts for the Siesbarg mount.
Unfortunately, unlike Beledar’s Spawn which will spawn during Beledar’s Void phase, Tka’kthath doesn’t have a event which spawns it and you could wait hours for it to possibly spawn. What’s worse is when you phase into a new shard (especially when you phase and see the dead corpse of the rare…).
Please have Tka’kthath spawn at a regular interval in all shards at a certain time like Beledar’s Spawn.

could not agree more!!! I have a life and cannot sit for 10 hours in one spot. Please, Blizz, you said you would respect player time.

Log out next to the rare and he’ll be up when the servers come back up if you’re willing to camp the server list.

There’s a zone wide message announcing that he’s gonna spawn in 2-3 minutes.
“The shadow of a hungering beast moves over the city” is the message, so you don’t need to camp his spawn point.

Rares like this are the worst thing in the game and i have no idea why they still force it on us. You dont even feel good killing one just relieved.

Benefits of being on a low pop server. I have the mount and have killed him iver 4 times now.
He spawns between 10 am to 12 pm.
Every 12 hours.
When I got him. Killed at 10:26.
Night when I I was farming he again spawned at 10:26 pm.
Your best approach is to camp him tomorrow.
He is most likely going to spawn after reset.
My time is pst.
Just thinking of the grind ahead of you hurts my bed

My point is that he respawns when the servers are restarted. I logged in 2 seconds after the servers came up and flew down there after taking the tunnel from Dornogal and ppl who logged out next to him had already killed him. I had to go back to town and turn on war mode to get him down.
And my point is that you don’t have to camp him at all but easily get the kill while doing other stuff in the zone.
I didn’t say camp him. I said log out next to him before the servers go down. He respawns with the servers. You just try to invalidate my point with your own.
If you really wanted it, you would have been one of the people who logged out next to him. Just like with Beledar you can’t take ages to get there and expect people to wait for you.

He’s just sitting here. Nobody else around. Everybody has him, at this point, I think.
