Titan’s Grip should an Arm’s Warrior talent choice opposite a true single 2h talent - it should ALSO be a PROTECTION talent that allows the use of a single 2h wep opposite a shield! SMF should be a talent choice opposite a Sword & Broad style talent for Fury Warriors.
Holy god, no.
TG should just not exist period. It makes it so more DPS classes are fighting over the same weapons constantly. SMF should jsut be the base line, since they will never be able to fix it.
this is bait
Is Arms viable at all PVE/PVP? my hands hurt playing fury about 20mins lol
during beta i think colossus would have allowed you to equip a 2h+a shield but they walked back on hero talents majorly changing your gameplay experience
It’s more than viable in all aspects of the game.
Play the spec you enjoy more.
Oh thats good just feels way WAY off Fury AOE potential and about the same in ST.
Oh well
If it help reassure you in any way, I’ve dumpstered every fury warrior in overall with Colossus Arms so far even going as far as doubling some of their aoe burst with proper set-up demolishes.
i mean, titan’s grip kinda makes a lot of sense for prot as well.
If fury can dual wield 2h, i can’t see prot canot use a 2h and a shield
Oh awesome will put more work into it then! what about ST?
ST simstack has Slayer Arms slightly ahead of Slayer Fury in ‘bis’ gear.
However take with grain of salt APLs may still be finetuned but they’re publicly released now (from the warrior Theorycrafting end of things, public APLs are usually released in good faith and are not sandbagged) so pending any further tuning changes to either spec and fight types where either spec gets a better cd line up, it’s looking like a very easy tier to play your favourite.
Oh thats great i just do so much better with Fury than Arms ughgg
Thankyou for all your help Greil much appreciated
I saw that Greìl had already given you great answers for your question related to Arms performance but I wanted to touch up on this part in case it ends up improving your QOL when playing.
It’s not exactly normal to feel pain after 20 minutes of play unless you have an existing impairment to your hand and/or forearm area.
Outside of an existing medical condition the most common cause of hand pains at a computer are a mix of the following.
Do you have wrist support so your keyboard hand isn’t at an angle?
Is your chair height at a good level from your desk height?
Are you chairs elbow rest at a similar level to your keyboard?
Are your keybinds mapped out to be easily accessible? It’s better to have your keys around a central location instead of spread out across your keyboard, avoid using 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 0 when you could instead use 1 2 3 4 5 Q E R F C.
Are your high prio abilities mapped to keys that you press with your index or middle finger? You generally want to avoid using your ring and little finger for any high traffic button.
To add onto what Tinderbeef said, RE posture/correct seat to desk height and what not.
if you do have pain in your hand/wrist from playing it’s a possibility of nerve entrapment, which isn’t a fun experience and there are some stretches / nerve glides you can do.
I know one thing that helped me when I injured my right wrist at the gym earlier this year was a few different nerve glides focusing on carpal/ulnar nerves (the two main ones that go through your hand).
Some solid nerve glide movements can be found on YT, some of the better ones for me were from some bald fella easily found by searching " Carpal Tunnel Gone in 6 Minutes" on YT and another one more focused on ulnar entrapment " 3 Exercises for Cubital Tunnel Syndrome (Ulnar Nerve Rehab)".
I wish. I main prot and would prefer to just pick up one more 1hander to swap to fury. I prefer the look of just having two 1handers too.
as it stands ive gotta get TWO 2handers to play fury…
i want to grip 4 2h weapons
I’m actually surprised that Colossus didn’t make holding a 2H for Prot a core selling point.
Seriously Prot warriors not having a 2H as their MH makes zero sense by this point.
