Titans and Titan Keepers

Can we stop usuing the word “Titans” for non titans. Titan keepers are usually what are being reffered to when characters in the game are saying Titans. Did the actual Titans come down and do everything? No. They made constructs and the constructs did everything. Titan keepers are supposed to be extremely powerful but they are not on the same level as actual Titans. The keepers seem to be on similar powerlevel to the Eternals. The actual Titans seem like they would be much stronger even though blizzard says they are the same and are just robots.

It seems to me that blizzards needs to clarify power levels. I would also like it if the Titan Keepers started using the power they have to change things around azeroth. They have machines that make armies, they have “mortals” that are extremely strong and kind of do what they want. Why arent the keepers interacting on a global scale? They have the power and resources and they have the mandate.

Are the Primalists mad at the actual Titans or the Titan Keepers who are also called Titans? Id like to see a dragon kill Aggramar.

Or the Aspects, seeing as both are gifted a very small portion of a Titan’s full power… one major problem with the plot of DF is the villains even outright say themselves they’re no match for us and even the DEPOWERED Aspects…

It felt like the filler arc of an anime when you consider that we’ve killed Titan Keepers and Old gods even as early as the first two expansions.

Yet give us a run for our money even when we pair up.

Makes sense

Nah. The Eternal Ones are to Death what the Titans are to Order.

It’s just that we met the Eternal Ones while they were severely malnourished due to the Jailer stealing all the anima.

If Sargeras was to “steal all the Arcane Magic”, the Titans would be weaklings too. A magic god without magic is like a gun without bullets.

We did beat Denathrius while he was juiced up. He had a ton of anima. The Jailer was also juiced up. When we fought Argus and the others in Legion we were so juiced up that we had to give our power away to stop the sword. I dont think The Jailer could beat Sargeras. I dont think the winter Queen could beat Eonar. The actual Titans are titanic. Everything about their characters and their feats of strength is way greater than the others.
Id place the pantheon of death at titan keeper power levels. The titan keeps are more akin to robots than planet sized Titans that can do pretty much anything they want.
This whole story seems like Odyn is the one who is in charge of everything happening. Not the Pantheon.

Well, Blizzard devs themselves said the Jailer was a “Titan++” threat.

So I don’t know if the Jailer could beat Sargeras (maybe old Sargey-boy is Titan+++ lol) but he would beat a regular Titan. That’s canon.

Maybe we just overestimate the Titans lol

To be fair, the entire raid was empowered by the dying Azeroth to beat Zovaal in Sepulcher. Denathrius might be weaker than Zovaal even when fully empowered by that much anima.

One could even argue that the Heart of Azeroth has been sort of empowering the PC since BFA since we never really lost it like the Legion artifacts both IC and OOC, it can’t be deleted from inventory and it and the connection to Azeroth via the Heart is explained as why the PC resurrects in Shadowlands zones where otherwise a soul would be departed.

There’s still MAJOR holes in the powerscaling though, but in different places.

Power levels in WoW are, much like the rest of Warcraft, equivalent to a comic book universe.

The answer to who will beat who in sheer power is pretty much always answerable by “whatever moves the plot forward in the direction the writer wants”.

I guess i just dont want them to make the Titans these deeply flawed beings that are extremely old and powerful and wise yet no different than the “mortals” they presume to rule. The Titans even if they were defeated by sargeras are still the most influential beings in the universe.
They shaped many worlds and had an elite force of constelars moving about the universe. Who are the mortals to challenge such beings? Does the human care for the ant hill thats in way of the shopping mall? Bringing them down to our level so they can be lectured by us wouldnt be good.

Oh, dude. The Jailor could absolutely beat Sargeras…

He’d simply BORE Sargeras to death and that’s how he’d win.

you can bet your butt thats exactly what will happen

Yes but Blizzard was just trying whatever they could to try to make the Jailer sound awesome. Honestly, they were starting to sound like kids playing.

“My toy is the strongest, it has laser eyes!”
“NUH UH, my toy is the strongest, it has laser eye shields and super strength!”
“Well my toy has super+ strength!”
“Mine has super++ infinity strength!”
“No it doesn’t!”
“Yes it does!”

At this point its basically best to ignore Blizzard when they try to convince you how much of a threat something is.

Give some examples.

Which Titan Keeper ripped Y’shaarj out of Azeroth? Oh, that’s right; it was the Titan Aman’Thul, not a Titan Keeper.

Never have I seen official work refer to any of the Titans as “just robots”.

It’s very clear if you pay attention.

Titans are Souls of the Pantheon of Order that wound up in the center of Worlds.

The actual reason is unknown though I can imagine Aman’Thul is responsible. The same Aman’Thul who ripped out both the Old God Y’Shaarj creating the Well of Eternity and the World Tree Elun’ahir/Il’gynoth creating Un’Goro Crater.

Argus and Aggramar is what a Titan’s power level is at when not merged with a World.

Argus was powerful enough to simply obliterate the Cosmos with a single channeled Spell.

Zovaal if he went all out being stronger than Argus would probably have destroyed the Machine of Origination along with the entire Cosmos with a single thought preventing him from Re-Originating the Universe using Azeroth’s World Soul.

The Titans’ power level when merged with Worlds is adding physical power to their magical power which as shown with Argus can wipe out the Cosmos for the more powerful members.

The spell the Titans used involving Argus took away the physical power of being a World from Sargeras by shrinking him down to their size reducing him to the same physical power level as his brethren.

Azeroth is implied to not be a Titan by the Amirdrassil Raid so she is not The Last Titan who I presume is the Final Boss of The Last Titan and a Titan worked on by Norgannon who I would hope turns out to be a good guy like Eonar helping us fight against Aman’Thul.

As for why I suggest Norgannon would be on our side while Aman’Thul would be opposed? Notice how Chaotic Arcane is? Remember how Aman’Thul ripped out a World Tree for being not Order? There is no way Aman’Thul would side with Norgannon once he realizes how Chaotic Arcane is.

Arcane is Disorder from the Twisting Nether! Fel is merely the purest expression of Disorder.

True Arcane Order Magic(which we see in Halls of Infusion) resembles Holy Light Magic unlike Holy Order Magic(which we see used by Titanic Watchers in Dragonflight) which is a different shade of Yellow from Holy Light.

We have to date seen 4 types of Order Magic: Electric Order Magic(looks like Lightning and used by Lei Shen, Ra-Den, Thorim, Odyn and Irideus), Arcane Order Magic(Golden and used by the Titan Defense Orbs in Dragonflight), Astral Order Magic(looks like Blue Stars and is used by Constellars) and Holy Order Magic(Yellow not Golden and used by Titanic Watchers in Dragonflight).

With all that stated we will be good friends with Norgannon and Eonar despite the Nathrezim using them as dupes to cause conflict among the Titans: Elun’ahir AKA Il’gynoth has shown Nathrezim-style wings indicating Il’gynoth is a Nathrezim as is his mother tree G’Hanir and his siblings Nordrassil, Andrassil(Teldrassil was a child of Xavius) and the 5 Great Trees which means Amirdrassil is the only World Tree that is being honest about it’s nature as a hybrid of Life and Death.

The titans created the keepers, so what the keepers do is also attributed to the titans. If i used a screwdriver to drive in some screws it’s still me who did it. I just did it via a tool.
