Am I just not seeing it, or did blizzard delete Titanic Throw in their series of bad ideas leading up to this xpac?
Pretty sure it was removed when pre-patch rolled in, did not? the entire tree wa re-shufled

It was probably a very low pick rate talent that they decided to replace with something else.
I know i never used it when tanking low 20s. Prot’s kit is solid enough to group multiple packs with easy through the use of charges, leap, dragon charge, and if there are any casters in one pack you can silence them to move with you with interrupt shout.

Titanic was scrapped and Improved Heroic Throw was replaced with Fight Through the Flames.

Someone can’t handle the truth lol. It was a super mid talent. Been playing prot since early bfa and have gotten top % m+ each time. The talent was horse doo doo.

Prot got back their WotLK Imp D stance with the talent - Fight through the flames. Having that 6% extra reduced magic damage is very very nice. Love to see old classics like this returning and them removing really bad talents.
It was certainly a talent that had its place in a handful of areas, but for sure wasn’t mandatory.
Blackrook Hold it got a lot of value since it was very easy to grab a bunch and LoS with a single ability to bring mobs to you.
But there were also times where it was less stellar (Back Half of Dawn of the Infinites is a good example).
Honestly I don’t really see the harm in letting Titatinc Throw be a baseline ability for Prot since largely its only used to get mobs into position, while generating decent threat on multiple targets.
