Some of us dont.
Some of us would prefer that normal dungeons stuck with 340 drops and Heroics stuck to whatever the base number is there.
I like the distinction between the two myself.
Considering your reply was to me and had two âwordsâ with no context, yeah I donât see how it explained or added anything. I checked my post before replying to that person and nothing I said had anything to do with other players, so I really see how their response and itâs content had anything to do with mine, but since my post was much farther up they picked that one to reply to. Your reply to me doesnât help anything and adds to the confusion. Itâs what we call spam.
Just because youâre incapable of understanding doesnât make it illogical.
Youâre free to call it anything you want, when you become an arbiter of what is and isnât Iâll care. I wasnât being snarky, I was pointing out the simple truth that people are defensive about the topic and the argument has been made many many times in this thread already. Need a hand removing that stick?
Your original reply didnât do anything besides lead to your snarkiness (stick removal suggestions are in fact rude/snarky and completely unnecessary considering YOU replied to ME).
Then it was only after I replied to you that you offered anything that contained even a tiny bit of clarification about your spam post , but it still had absolutely nothing to do with my response to the other person. Unless of course that person is in fact you and youâre embarrassed that the reply was completely in another galaxy in regards to mine.
Random Titan forging is the gaming equivalent of jingling keys in front of a baby every now and then to keep him from crying. You know what would be a better way to retain players? Let us save up a currency to buy a Titan-forged sports car to go with those keys instead of forcing so many layers of RNG that it makes Vegas casinos gasp in shock.
Yes, that was snarky, sorta like the attitude youâve copped with me. I tend to return what I get. Want to have a civil discussion with no insults, cool, Iâm down. Want to toss your ego around and be snarky? Iâm down for that too. If you canât handle it, donât start it.
My position essentially boiled down to me insinuating he didnât read your post and thatâs why he responded the way he did and you went overboard with defensiveness. But yes, letâs go with your conspiracy theory because, hey, you seem entirely sound and rational and that seems like fun! In fact not only did I post his response to you Iâm also secretly plotting the assassination of all the world leaders, from my computer, while I sit in WoW doing the invasion on my alts, while I chill in this thread swapping toons and having conversations with myself (in fact the only other real person in this thread besides me is you), and Iâm watching an episode of Star Trek Discovery. My life is full of contradictions and complications!
I sorry but your level of stupidity is hard to fathom.
Iâm*
Should probably get your sentences together before trying to sling insults.
If you took any of my post and decided I was being snarky and got defensive then thats your bad. I pointed out simple stuff without having to stoop to the level of talking about objects and insinuate locations regarding your anatomy.
Your original reply had nothing to do with civility and it definitely wasnât in the realm of having a conversation. You didnât even clarify if the derp was directed at me or the person I responded to, but you decided to quote me and reply to me, but okay you decided you needed to protect that poster⊠for some unknown reason and try to what exactly? Correct me? I was telling that poster not to come after me for whatever slight he felt was against him if my original post had nothing to do with it. Wasnât being mean or anything. So⊠once again: your bad.
First, âIâm not being snarky, you just think Iâm being snarky but youâre wrong!â Such an irrefutable argument!
Second, so youâre all pissy because I responded to thisâŠ
by posting thisâŠ
Third, I didnât reply to you. I quoted you. Replies show in the top right. I quoted you to make the point noted above. Reading is hard! Particularly when you can just read things in sequence and they make complete sense but if you read them in random order they donât! So confusing!
But really, at this point weâre just pissing in the wind instead of talking about the actual topic. And itâs funny to me but weâve got plenty of similar non-productive conversation happening here already. Do you have anything to add after acknowledging my point that he simply didnât read your post and assumed your position was like many of the other arguments here? Or are you going to keep whiffing at trying to sound like an e-tough guy?
Iâve followed the chain and no itâs not hard to read. Maybe itâs time you admit that your silly derp comment really wasnât necessary and in fact spam. Sometimes replies are a bit buggy or laggy, but next time maybe try to flesh out your commentary so it has more substance outside of âlol derpâ when you quote someone. Iâm not pissy, but Iâm not going to sit here and let people like that person who replied to me take my post and turn it into something it wasnât and certainly not going to let you sit there and fling insults around. I was done with this topic quite awhile ago, but I got a response and wanted to make sure that person knew I didnât bring other players into it. Your comment wasnât even necessary. Iâm sure you will have yet another thing to say on it, but Iâm pretty sure I have pointed out all of the facts so Iâm done.
Good for you, you caught a typo. First thing you have been right about so gratz.
The game is dying, should probably open your eyes. Subs are only dropping and the lack of in-game activity is pretty clear at how dead the game is.
Glad to see you didnât bother reading. Thereâs nothing âhyperbolicâ with facts of a Rogue being the best geared playing in Tomb without ever stepping into Mythic Tomb. This happened, it is not sarcasm or an exaggeration. The reality is there should not be even a chance for it to happen, people should earn what they get and not have to get lucky.
I didnât say a rogue being the highest ilvl toon from M+ farm in Legion was sarcasm. I didnât say that was hyperbolic. I said thatâs because, as intended, mythic+ is an alternative progression to raid or die with comparable rewards for comparable difficulty. That was a design choice that was made in Legion. Itâs not the same argument people are, generally speaking, making here.
If your position is that M+ shouldnât have rewards comparable to Mythic raiding then youâre argument is more ridiculous than most here who are complaining about forging or emissary quests or darkshore/darkshore world boss loot. M+ isnât going away. If that makes you salty, more entertainment for me I guess?
Again, hereâs the important part from above: Show me a single person who doesnât use any of the progression systems (i.e. M+, raiding, PvP) whoâs over 400 ilvl. But you canât do that. Because they donât actually exist.
A normal titanforged can titanforge past base mythic ilevel. Even base mythic pieces feel bad to get cause itâs not the best form of that item but itâs the hardest difficulty
Know this was a while ago but I have to reply to it. The âmajorityâ at this point in WoW are the people who have quit the game because they didnât think it was worth the time/money. Maybe they are ones we shouldâve been listening to.
Did you read that in the other âcomplain about forging threadâ that everyone migrated to and feel the need to post it here thinking youâre witty?
Most people I know quit wow because they just aged out of it. Had kids or are more focused on their family/partner. Lost interest in the style of game in general (they didnât migrate to another mmo, they just stopped playing mmoâs altogether). Their jobs are more demanding on their schedules now. Etc. The mmo market is an aging generation. Younger gamers generally arenât interested in investing the amount of time we invest into WoW in a single game, they simply play games differently than the average mmo player does⊠I keep in touch with dozens of people Iâve played WoW with since it started. Iâve met many of them in person. None of them moved on because of forging. Not a single one would come back if it was removed. Anecdotal sure, but if you actually have any data that supports the idea that people moved on because of forging Iâd love to see it.
Thatâs a great story⊠in fact,
I keep in touch with dozens of people who used to play WoW who quit over forging. All of them would come back if it was removed.
Crazy isnât it!?
