I am wondering if I should start saving Titan Residuum for 8.2? or I should spend them on off-specs?
I guess I just don’t want to spend them now and it is needed to purchase whatever in 8.2.

Spend your 1750 for some RNG garbage, or save 7k+ for the next 4 years for a piece that you wont need anymore by the time you have enough to buy it. Sounds like a lose-lose to me.

They will be used for azerite in 8.2 (season 3 start to be precise). You’ve got like 2 months to save if you want. I am under the mindset that 430 pieces will be about 5k-ish to be consistent with the ~3x multiplier for every 15 IL.
One of two things might happen:
1: They upgrade the rewards to match what’s available in 8.2, and keep the prices the same or increase the prices.
2: They wipe everyone’s Residue and convert it into G, like currencies past, to slow down progression and so hoarders can’t go buy a full set of Heroic tier Azerite armour Day 1 of 8.2.
Ether way we don’t know what’s going on with it yet, so unless your needing upgrades, best to save it.
Blizzard went on record to say to “start saving” for season 3. TR isn’t going anywhere. I can’t find the blue post but i am pretty sure it was the 8.2 reveal.
That doesn’t seem like Blizzard to let your currency carry over. I’d be hesitant to save TR until you have an official response, since I would wager (as mentioned) Blizzard will reset your TR for gold or introduce a new currency (Super Azerite Titan Residium Gold Plus Turbo Mode) for season 3.
They let you carry it over for season 2.
