Ello, yesterday Titan Panel worked fine and i had no issues with it however i logged on today and noticed my top bar was gone and i couldn’t find titan panel when i went to interface/addons and titan is enabled in my addons list. I’m assuming it was either caused by me updating titanpanel or updating another addon but i’m not good with these things so im not sure.
Ive just been getting the errors, Error: Titan could not initialize cleaning up, Error: interface/addons/titan/titanpanel.lua:404 attempt to call global ‘TitanUpdateConfig’ (a nil value), Titan warning – hiding titan bars
The addons i updated when i logged on were Titan panel, elvui shadow an light, all the things, addonskins and WA2.
It could be obvious what the issue is but i’m lost and got no idea what addon is causing it or if it’s just an issue with titan panel, thanks for any help.
Edit: Issue was Addonskins, reverting to an older version fixed it since both titan panel and HSW were not showing up.
Glad you were able to track this down. Any ideas why Addonskins caused the problem? Basically, that error you received where it said “TitanUpdateConfig” will be shown if a plugin is attempting to do something horrible. To prevent that, Titan Panel aborts it’s load attempt. Originally, we tried to make it check each plugin for sanity and then just skip loading the ones that failed but we ran into problems of specific coding methods used by certain authors causing false positives. Trying to be a flexible environment for plugins can cause problems. To prevent false positive aborts for those plugins, we just had Titan Panel itself abort only on a critical plugin failure.
The quickest way to see if Titan Panel has lost it’s mind is to disable all plugins except the built-ins that are included with the addon.
The titan panel for me was at the top just fine until I accidently removed it and I am doing everything everyone is saying but I can not fix it. And titan panel is not in my folder on my pc for some reason

It sounds like you deleted the addon. Reinstall it using whatever addon manager you use.
I did do all that I had the same issue 5 years ago and I do not know what I did to fix it
Titan Panel used to have seperate addons for each game client version. Now there’s a single version for all clients:

Make sure you’re installing it for the game version you want to play (or all of them)
