Tired of M+ Ideas

Tired of the M+ ideas ruling the forums. Everyone wants a penalty. How is that going to work when what 70% people that play this game are people high 20s to mid 30s. People have lives. One or two things need to happen. There is no reason for players to stay fully in a M+ when players run 3-8 dungeons in a row with no loot drop. No set pieces drop unless its weekly.

-Bring back Titanforge
-Drop tier pieces
-Roll out a system that lets people know percentage base or number base out of how many total runs they have left out of. Example Lavix - 99% or Lavix - 56/58 dungeons fully completed.
-Something to let people know that they have a high chance of not leaving.

I don’t believe we need the community going the direction of penalty for leaving. At the same time we need to not have the players have control over voting. GW2 has a system in place that you vote who you like at the end of the dungeon. We don’t need that either.

Absolutely not. That stuff was garbage and so is mythic+

Why comment on something that doesn’t pertain to you then?

Because mythic plus as much as i hate it, is a core part of the game at this point.

Titanforging is a totally different beast that needs to stay dead.

You going to elaborate on why you hate it or think its garbage or you just one of those people that just hate it because a YouTuber does.

Nah. Titanforging was a horrible system overall.

Definitely not. M+ if farmable and raid is not. M+ is already the easier path to gearing, there is no reason to make the problem worse.

Overall this data would be meaningless because it would be presented without context. How mad are you going to be when someone else leaves and your % goes down?

If your answer is that your score wouldn’t go down if you weren’t the first one to leave, you create a hostage system that is just as bad.

Again someone that just says it is horrible without explaining why.> Blockquote

That doesn’t make the problem worse at all. Yes maybe easier path to gearing but if you are a Heroic or Mythic raider you can easily get more gear through gear funneling or pure luck than you can in M+. Me personally can run 6+ dungeons no loot drop or the same set of hands drop non-stop.

Did YOU leave or did SOMEONE else leave? Someone else left. So why would YOUR score go down? Dungeon was not completed last boss was not killed and someone left, someone initiated the brick. So you think the system would punish everyone else that left after that person did. That is foolish and a non ethical way to think tbh.

Playing with players that have 90% or higher will have a better success rate than what we have now. Or a player that is 147/150 dungeons completed. Something needs to be done to fix this and if you’re idea is to put a system in place to possible ban or time people out from playing the game that is way worse.

People want to make their own groups so they can select their own team… But don’t actually want to vet their team.

This community is hilarious. Especially the M+ folks. Some of ya’ll cool, but a whole heap of ya’ll just a bunch of cry babies who swear they are better than they actually are.

100% agree, some people in the m+ community is great and fun to play with. But one death or one wipe and they leave. People care to much about timing keys for their IO. My VDH is 2200 IO and I have more out of timed dungeons than in time dungeons. I stay for the loot and the focus at the end.

One time I wanted to make an omelette with cheese and onions. Then it got me thinking…

“Y’know, people put salsa on their omelets. Why not steak sauce?”

Turns out it was just a bit tastier then I thought. Course… the steak was missing. Love me some steak and eggs.

Only if that system also includes missed interrupts, missed mechanics etc.

Because your suggestion was literally a %/count of dungeons completed. Why wouldn’t it go down? You didn’t complete the dungeon. That seems pretty obvious.

Nope. My suggestion is to do nothing because this is a player created problem…and every “solution” I have seen suggested only creates additional problems. Some of which are far worse than what we currently have.

It is a degenerative gameplay system that incentivizes doing the fastest/easiest content in the hopes of getting an RNG proc/which provides stronger gear.

This is just nonsense that is not based on the reality of the game.

Dropping tier would benefit m+.
Why bring back titanforge?
And your non-leaver suggestion just leads to less people pugging if they care or it’ll be a bunch of skilled people with plenty of leaves.

nah mostly just the bad players. occasionally you see a good player suggest it but it’s pretty uncommon.

Hm. I didn’t know there was another me running around in the world.

If I had to guess, my own completion rate this week is probably 50%? (including untimed.)

Something goes wrong for one reason or another, just go next cause 1 wipe = key’s over in most cases.

Nah, I’ve had wipes on Raging Tempest on tyrannical that recovered. If you depend on lust to kill Tempest, then in these cases, going to clear trash of another area is worth, but that’s a unique “feature” of NO.

Copy pasta game they don’t care … “Anything that we want to change with major systems takes up to 2 years before we can implement it in”

Not that mad, considering I never leave keys and will have a low score regardless. Id be willing to bet if a number popped up right now on % completed keys, and I had access to the leavers I have had, it would be a massive difference. Yea, they got me for a few, but these people are most likely serial leavers, with a massive % of left keys.

Because i feel the game is becoming too much like diablo. Its the same dungeons made only marginally harder in the laziest way possible by increasing enemy hp and damage %s per key level, slapping a few extra mechanics that rotate weekly to every dungeon that abide by the same rules and for extra fun, a timer. Loot follows same rules. A few more stats for every key level.

Boring.

Infinitely running the same dungeons for the same piece of gear only at a higher item level makes every piece of gear feel uninteresting and unrewarding. You feel like youre running on a wheel and It’s extremely poor and lazy game design. Why make more content than you have to when you can slap an affix on what you have, make it marginally harder, increase the item level rewards which take the same items that are already available, boost their stats by a percentage per key level , and call it a day?

I hate mythic+.
